Artist Sylvain Ristori created the project 'Living Barrels' for Jameson Whiskey, which is displayed on the side of Belfast's National Bar. It is on the wall over the beer garden.
Sylvian is an artist who mostly works with recycled or found materials. He decided to make this sculpture of three faces out of used Jameson's Barrel staves. 'Living Barrels' depicts the individuals that collaborate to give Jameson's a sense of community spirit, as well as the conviviality of the brand itself, thus it's appropriate that it was developed for everyone to enjoy.
As with much of Belfast art, look up as you walk the city!
