They were a result of inattention to detail from nearly every person we encountered. For example: * It began with the Temporary Orders where they labeled the Modified Possession Order as Standard Orders twice in the text. This created many situations where the children's father thought he could pick and choose possession times. * It continued through the Motion to Enforce the Temporary Orders. At first, the Attorney chose not to engage simply because the Judge was mad at the Respondent. Then they neglected to inform us that by going to mediation, there would be no opportunity to get a ruling on the orders, allowing more inappropriate behavior from the ex and costing significant money. * Perhaps the worst was Mediation where we were presented the mediation 'request' only 10 minutes before the Mediation meeting. This provided insufficient time to review and resulted in issues that were not addressed in the final decree. * Finally in the Final Divorce paperwork where there were so many people involved and so little communication on their end that names were spelled incorrectly, addresses were wrong, and we had to revise and submit 3 sets of changes to them. They couldn't track the changes correctly and ended up sending the wrong version to her ex's lawyer. I was involved in the divorce for multiple reasons, but mostly because my daughter is hard of hearing and needed a sign language interpreter for her interactions with the office. They often did not respect this requirement, leading to misunderstandings and interactions that would have been unnecessary if they had included me. Since every interaction was billed, the final cost was several times the initial estimate. It is our opinion Hembree Law Firm is the worst possible office to place one of the most important life changing and ultimately life altering actions. We were counting on legal professionals that paid attention to detail and that is not what we found. Buyer BEWARE.
