He is a GREAT periodontist, who exemplifies a distinctive level of knowledge, kindness and, superb medical care! When I visited Dr. Sweiden for my consultation and examination, he was explicit as he explained my treatment options and the specifics of implant surgery. As an added bonus, Dr. Sweiden's staff are all very friendly, helpful and extremely prompt. Everyone made me feel comfortable about the procedure, and all my questions were answered. I was impressed with the warm atmosphere, and the attention you and your staff give your patients. It makes my visits to your office a very pleasant experience. Indeed, your attention to detail in both terms of preparing patients for both pre-operative and post-operative care is beyond reproach. Your written instructions were most precise, and I was well aware of how to properly prepare for my implant surgery, and your post-operative care instructions were extremely comprehensive. As an added bonus, my post-operative care instructions were provided in a gift bag, and I was delighted that my package included limited medical supplies and, as an added bonus, a gourmet soup. It was a welcome gift and a very thoughtful gesture. Certainly, Dr. Caesar Sweidan pays attention to his patients needs. I write this letter with sincere gratitude to thank you for being kind and caring and for taking such good care of me. During my implant procedure, I was completely at ease. St Tammany Periodontics is an ELITE professional organization, and I highly recommend your office to anyone in need of periodontal care. Please know that the biggest reward for a thing well done is to have DONE IT! I am pleased with the outcome of my procedure, and I thank you for being my periodontist! Sincerely, Dennis J. Saucier

Then their was an additional procedure not covered in the initial upfront cost that wasn't talked about. After the procedure I was given another bill for $480 that the insurance didn't cover that they said they would. I have been in contact since this moment with Barbara the billing lady, telling her I've escalated this four times with my insurance company and waiting on a resolution. I have informed them every step of the way that this is still being worked on. I also asked for medical records so I could try to file with my health insurance - records were printed but they wanted to charge me $37 for these records. I asked if they could file and the Dr refused to use medical codes to be able to submit to my medical insurance but said I could try if I wanted to. With the delay I asked about a payment plan so I could pay off this debt and if insurance eventually paid, I would be reimbursed. I asked Barbara to remove the late fee her office has added on their own billing system and she denied the request. Saying it will accrue late fees until it is fully paid off- I told her this is an insane policy and I'm trying to pay $480 and we are arguing over $7. She then tells me I will now be sent to collections that she's had enough of this conversation. This has been the most difficult, lazy, and unprofessional staff to work with and they overcharge for procedures and nickle and dime every step of the way when you try to resolve an issue
