He criticized me, saying not to tell him what number to use, just "short, medium or long" and called my previous barber an idiot because of that. He had the chair facing away from the mirror for the whole haircut which I thought weird, and at the end when he spun the chair around I saw that he had cut off way more hair than I wanted. The owner is Adelina (she bought the business about 20 years ago and decided not to change the name). Adelina is a very experienced barber with a wonderful personality. She gives a great haircut at a terrific price. In addition, she is the only barber and this helps to create an atmosphere of warmth and privacy (I really dislike crowded barber shops where everything that is spoken is overheard by others). I am very concerned that haircutting chains, with inexperienced barbers, may undermine her business - this would be a huge loss for the community.
