Nice looking place but I had a reservation at 1:30 and I got there around 1:20. Was a guy in the seat of the hair stylist I made a reservation with. He said it'll be a few minutes and I had no problem waiting a few minutes. He finishes with the guy around 1:34 and I'm thinking I'm on deck since my reservation was at 1:30. Nope. Takes a walk in instead. I decided to wait a little and see if it's gonna take a few minutes or something. If you're looking for a nice haircut for a decent price then this is definitely the place for you. They have an amazing staff and that's something that counts. They're all pretty cool guys and they know how to have fun while working. Daniel or "Chopo" is the man to goto. He does take appointments but I never usually have to make one to get a haircut from him. One thing that makes him a good barber is that he can hold a conversation so there's no awkward moment with some other stylists and barbers. That also goes for the rest of the staff so don't worry about that issue with any of the guys here. One downside is that sometimes there's a pretty long waiting time but it balances out because during the waiting the barbers have some pretty funny conversations. Plus id rather have my barber take his time and do a good job instead of rushing and doing a bad cut so in the end everything balances out. Like I mentioned earlier, if you're looking for a quality fade, combover, or anything then this is probably one of the best spots to goto! I believe the reviews written for this place is hyped or written by owners and their friends. I scheduled an appointment with one of their barbers for 11. He was already late as he was dealing with another customer. I waited patiently. He started my haircut a good 10-15 past my appointment and then told me he can only cut my hair until his next appointment at 11:30. My haircut was rushed and sloppy. When I confronted him he became hostile and told me he runs on his schedule not mine regardless of the fact that we had an agreed amount of time scheduled. My first time going here as was recommended here by cousin. I am so glad I listened to him and went. Jose M was the one who took care of my and he did a wonderful job. Actually all of them do a great job but I had Jose. I have never grown a beard and was a little worried but he did a great job. I went to this place the night before the holiday. These guys know how cut a nice fade and pay close attention to what their customers want. I had Abraham cut my hair. He was very relaxing and was easy to chat and have a conversation with while I got my cut. He also listened to my needs and how I wanted my look to be and he did an excellent Typical barbershop banter too which is good because that's what you want in a place. Price is a little more than the city but worth it since it's closer to my house. This will be my go to place for cuts and shaves. read more

A great fade cut on my extremely difficult hairline. Super great staff. Very talented mens cuts from very mild to outrageous. (I've watched lots of cuts while getting mine done) Very reasonable $20 as of Nov 2014. Closed Sun/Mon and Tues are walkin's only, other days you can get an appointment. Some think $20 is high when there are lots of $15 shoppes around,, but you do get what you pay for talent wise. The owner is beyond super cool. I used to drive out to Cicero for my cuts, thank goodness I found this place. They are still cash only. They handle kids cuts too, but the music playing there is adult rap so parents take note. read more

The barber cut and faded my sides pretty good but the top of my hair was cut unevenly and was not texturized evenly. Maybe if all youre doing is getting fades, this place MIGHT be an option but if you have a some hair on your top in which you style, definitely steer clear of this place. read more

I've got my haircut here three times. First 2 times were good. This last time though was the worst haircut I've ever gotten. I usually tip about 50% to 60% after even a mediocre cut. This was the first time in my life where I didn't tip. My Barber didn't properly fade anything, and left the top of my head super uneven. He kept speaking in Spanish basically making fun of my hair (I actually speak Spanish despite being white). I left in a hurry to avoid a confrontation (hair does grow back after all) but Jesus. It's a shame because the other barbers I used were pretty good, but this one guy was so absolutely terrible that I will not be going back. read more

I seriously believe the reviews written about this place have been written by the owners friends and colleagues. This is the worst haircut I've ever gotten in my life exclamation point terrible fade job, terrible beard lining, the place smells like marijuana, my barber's hands smelled like marijuana. To each his own what he does on his free time, but to have the place stinks like it is unprofessional in my opinion. Besides the fact that it looks like somebody went Clipper crazy around the top part of my ears, there's no fade done in that area, it goes from looking completely shaven bald to a size 1 clipper. And they charge $30 for a haircut and beard lining for someone that has short hair. Totally unacceptable and will never go back there read more

Great talent. Horrible organization for appointments. They did raise their prices to $20 for a haircut from $15 which is on the pricier side. I think most of us would be willing to pay it for the right service. Now I have to admit they are good at what they do, but when you take the time to make an appointment, you expect the time to be met. I made an appointment with Omar at 5pm. I walked in at 5:05pm. He's still working on someone else. Ok no problem. I'm sitting in front of him waiting. 5:45pm and he's done. So I get up to go next and he looks at me and says, " I still have someone else first, do you want to wait or come back tomorrow?" Really?! In the 40 minutes I was sitting there, you didn't think to tell me that? Enough said. If you value your time and money, go elsewhere. If you have time to kill and don't mind spending a bit more, even I have to admit, they are good. read more
