(see photo) The tech never spoke with me- instead opting to speak solely to I found out is his son. Honestly, I didn't mind, and chalked it up to bad service. Not terrible. What killed my review and opinion was when he took the dremel to the tops of my nails for a simple manicure and laquer paint (1 color). I honestly did not know how to react while I watched him destroy my nails. It has been a very embarrassing, as my nails look unkept, annd they're prone to peeling, chipping, etc. Absolutely embarrassing to extend a hand, or lay it on the tabletop when working with others. It has also and painful month. my fingernails burn, and hurt. They're so thin. I don't know why he did it, if it's a lack of training, experience, or just a bad day, but I probably have 3-4 more weeks of this. Then I will sit my happy butt at Luxe across the street, and know what I am gettin, as they have never disappointed, or hurt me.

We both had the Laurel type of treatments which is as free of chemicals as possible. One hour each preceded by fact questioning which was pertinent to the treatments. The Laurel line smells so wonderful, a combo of herbs that makes you feel so relaxed but not sleepy. Afterwards I was given a card to use since I live locally for future treatments so I could get a chance to receive a surprise after a certain number of treatments. I also received samples of the Laurel skin cleanser and the sunscreen. I did have the chance to use both and am so impressed by both. Just a smidgen of each applied has improved my complexion. Definitely going to set up regular follow up treatments. Also right after my facial, my complexion felt so calm and not inflamed though I had been following all the correct ways to keep a clearer complexion such as drinking plenty of water, not touching my face, sleeping with my hair pulled away from my face, using cleanser free of perfume, etc. The spa is so very clean and I was quite impressed.

I showed Henry a picture of what I wanted hoping he could do it. I wasn't expecting perfection but something close. Let me tell you, this man is an Artist! HE NAILED IT! Never has another Nail Tech over the years and states have ever hit a design I showed them 100%. But Henry not only did an excellent job, he was very friendly and nice. He went over and above on my nails today. I can't say enough about him and the entire Salon. They are always nice and friendly. I highly recommend Henry and any of the other nail techs at the Salon.
