When I'd take him to other groomers, we'd always end up at the vet two days later after he'd have a terrible outbreak or some sort of reaction to products being used or being put under a dryer. This has never been an issue at Charlie's Place. On our first visit I told them all about my concerns and my dog and they have taken amazing care of him ever since. They also don't cram him in a tiny crate - they have a huge area for him to hang out in which I really appreciate since he's so large. All of the staff here is amazing and friendly and I always feel so comfortable leaving my pup with them for the day. It's also one of his favorite days too! When we'd use other groomers, as soon as they'd try and take him back, he'd just lay down which made it so hard on me and I knew something wasn't right. But here, he happily trots back, tail wagging, and doesn't think about me until I come to get him again. I know he's happy and for me, thats worth it. He also always looks amazing. I can't recommend this place enough!

I have two large 80lb dogs and bathing them at home is just a pain. I love coming to this location…read morebecause they have huge tubs that are just the right height. I love that the shower nozzle doesn't require you to hold the trigger down and it's just a simple push up and down on the back of the nozzle. My hands ache and hurt if I grasp something for too long so this helps minimize the pain I feel and allows me to hold the nozzle longer. This location also has a dryer you're able to use along with towels. I normally bring my own shampoo and conditioner for my dogs but they do provide soap in the included price. There's different levels for different prices which include different soaps but I stick with the $10 wash. The staff is always friendly and I've never had an issue with the self service facility. However some people may think you work there, I've gotten asked a couple of times haha. I believe this location also has a grooming service station in the back by professional groomers. Overall, I'll be back to this location!

The staff including the owner was VERY accommodating when she would need time off or had a problem. The owner constantly praised her on her work ethic. My daughter described working here as "it's like home". Now as a customer my dog loves going to Critter camp! He gets excited when I mention the words "critter camp". They always make sure he has a bath before coming home and he loves the playtime with other dogs his size. When we have to go out of town and he can't go, we will ALWAYS use Critter Camp because I know he will be taken care of just like we take care of him.
