Trying to find a stylist in Ocean Shores has been a challenge, Sunny was the 4th stylist i tried…read more Let's review her time management first then her professionalism. First appointment, she was 10 minutes late, 2nd -15 minutes, third visit was again 15 minutes and the 4th visit began 40 minutes late. Treatments: On my first visit, I was unhappy with the previous color from another salon. She said the only way to fix was stripping the color, I said I had a bad experience before with color stripping and no, we were not stripping the color, I had to give a firm "No." Instead, I choose to do deep conditioning and then color. Sunny provided a head massage on the first 2 visits but not again. The last visit: I had about 1" of gray roots showing, we talked about a darker shade but I said I would wait, match the color for now. Again no head massage. 2.5 hrs later I left with the roots darker than the base, a, ombré look, not good. Plus, I have never spent 2.5 hrs in a salon for a root touch up, her time management issues are "squeezing" in other clients, causing delays and she is doing a disservice to the clients already in the shop. My complaint/request Communication only by text:: I got home and saw the mistake, I asked her why she could not see the color variation, no response but she said she would correct it, the first appointment was 2 weeks out. The only way to fix it would again, strip the color or bleach the roots, neither was an option, for me. Then she says all corrections must be done in 7 days, so what is with the 2 week delay? I asked for a full refund, not wanting her to mess up my hair again. Then she was she has a no refund policy because people take advantage, I replied "Seriously?" You were the only one taking advantage, of my time and not listening to me, she never verbally spoke or posted her refund policy, plus, I paid in cash and she was $5 short in the change adding more $$ to her tip. Sunny was given the option of a refund or bad review, well here we are. Save your money and hair, use someone else.

She requested pictures of my hair and what I wanted done before excepting me as a new client which made me feel extremely comfortable. I could tell he's pretty proud of the store. We let him give us the run down of what they have and he was always near in case there was a question. There was a deal to buy three bars of soap and get to choose a free bar from a selection at the counter. Each bar was hand made and was between $12-14 each. Once again bear in mind this is a tourism heavy beach town plus NOTHING anywhere is cheap anymore. We did the soap deal plus a couple other things and got out of there. It was nice to get an explanation when you initially arrive and get a rundown of the products. I wanted to look around in peace and this woman followed me the entire time. I went upstairs to check out the clothes and poof! She was there! I was interested in some of the clothing items but her behavior turned me off so I just left. I would rather just shop online than feel that awkward.
