We had a great connection from the start despite having never met before. While we weren't friends, I felt like we could be friends and that's kind of a big deal when inviting someone to be with you for one of life's great milestones. I had a somewhat difficult labor based on the position my baby was in and I am so grateful that I had Rebekah on my team. It didn't seem like the nurses had much advice to offer but Rebekah had lots of different positions to labor in and her assistance helped make my unmedicated birth happen!

They are knowledgeable, emotionally supportive, and genuinely caring. They made me feel safe and respected the entire time. They have solutions for everything and did so well educating me on health, nutrition, my body, pregnancy, and the delivery process. Every part of my experience with them felt intentional and thoughtful, from the amazing childbirth classes with Brooke, to their newborn specialist Diana who was such a huge support after delivery. Anita was always so helpful and kind as well. I always felt listened to, never rushed, and like I mattered to them. They went above and beyond for me in ways I'll never forget, and because of them I had not just one, but two of the most beautiful birth experiences I could have EVER imagined. I've never felt as safe and loved as I did here. I truly don't know how I would've survived without them. I feel beyond blessed to have found this birth center. The care and attention to detail were beyond my expectations. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a respectful and nurturing birth experience. During labor, the environment was very supportive- soothing voices, and no rush or pressure. I felt fully in control but never alone. Afterward, the postpartum care and follow-up were just as amazing. As a first time mom and postpartum RN working in the hospital, my birth experience here has changed how I view my own work and deepened my respect for this kind of holistic, family-centered care. I 100% support this model of care and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, empowering birth experience.

We had Jean Sala primarily for all of our births and she is a true hero to my wife. The staff doesn't shout your name out when they're ready for you and I loved the privacy of that. Having everyone in the waiting room know your name has always bothered me a little. My buzzer went off and I walked to the door way and was greeted pleasantly! The nurse was informative and walked me through each step, making sure I didn't feel uncomfortable or lost. She was truly caring and asked great questions, took notes on my history, and was engaged. Holly Groom, the midwife, was my care physician and I was so thankful to have her! I have never had such a respectful exam in my life. She did what she needed to do with no judgment. Made sure I felt comfortable and didn't linger. I've never felt so at ease or respected. Thank you, Holly! I am also doing IVF treatments with my wife and our clinic is not local. They had 0 issues assisting me with the monitoring. IVF is such a stressful process and they were so accommodating with no hesitation. Really put me at ease and alleviated so much of my stress. I would 1000% recommend this clinic and Holly Groom - I'll be going back :)

We had such an amazing experience at the beautiful and welcoming Frisco Birth Center for both births and formed a truly special relationship with Margie that will never be forgotten. Margie is an incredibly kind, gentle, supportive, knowledgeable, and professional midwife who genuinely cares about her clients in a way that is rare in any medical setting. Throughout pregnancy, she promptly answered any questions or concerns that arose, even making herself available between visits as needed, despite her busy schedule. Our older children came with me to prenatal appointments and they adore her as much as we do! She took the time to teach them and let them get involved in finding baby's heartbeat and position, which helped them get so excited to meet their new sibling. Leading up to the birth, we had some unusual findings in one of the blood samples that were run, and she put in extra time and effort to help us find the answers we needed to feel confident in our birth plan. There was also a risk of hemorrhage, but she wisely helped us weigh all of our options before, during, and after the birth so that we could have the safe and beautiful delivery we hoped for. Margie and her assistant midwife, Neta (who is also wonderful), accurately assessed the health of both mom and baby and responded quickly and professionally to any concerns that arose, including a very fast transition and delivery and maternal bleeding. We felt completely safe and empowered throughout the entire process because of Margie's clinical skill and compassionate demeanor. Birth can be unpredictable, and we felt well-informed and supported through every decision. After the birth, her standard of excellence continued, as she made multiple home visits to check on mom and baby and helped empower us make the decisions about his health we were uncertain. We are so grateful to know Margie and would highly recommend that others make the same choice if they are looking for a kind, gentle, trustworthy, skilled, and dedicated provider who truly cares.

My first birth was at a hospital and after doing thorough research, I realized that I deserved better than the care that I had received and knew that I needed a different experience. For my second birth I gave birth at Allen Birthing Center which was fantastic! This third time around, I decided to do several interviews of midwives in the area. I felt an instant connection to Margie and I knew that I wanted to go with her. I was having some financial issues at the time but she allowed me to make a payment plan and get a substantial discount. She really does care about people and want to help in any way possible. If you have formerly received obstetric care, I think you'll find that out-of-hospital midwifery care is a night and day opposite experience. Obstetrics focuses mostly on the baby and is very fear-based. Margie is very holistic in her methods and believes in the woman's body's capability to birth. She knows that the mother's emotional state is just as important as what is going on with her physically. Through our appointments I let her know my goals for my birth, including my desire to birth in an upright position. She made sure that all of my wishes were respected and I obtained the ultimate birth experience that I desired! I am forever grateful for her and consider her a friend. Ladies, please don't be fearful! Our bodies were created for this. Should a hospital transfer be desired or necessary, there is always a plan B and C for those scenarios. If you are having trouble getting your husband on board, I highly recommend having him watch "The Business of Being Born." Midwifery care is actually MUCH cheaper than standard prenatal care and hospital birth. If you choose Margie to help fulfill your prenatal, postnatal and childbirth needs, you cannot go wrong! Highly recommend!!!

We both interviewed a few midwife practices in the DFW area, and we felt comfortable with Cori right away. She had the perfect balance between being personable and professional at the same time. I felt safe with asking her questions without being judged. She always asked what questions we would have multiple times throughout our appointments with her. She also never rushed us during appointments, and really took her time and gave us the full appointment to her undivided attention. She explains everything very well, using different resources. Cori is extremely respectful of different cultural practices, she even asks about any a couple would like to practice during the pregnancy and birth so she can be aware and accommodate. She also has a great community of Doulas, other midwives, doctors, chiropractors and pelvic floor therapists she is connected to. When the day finally came, Cori was extremely calm. Her voice and tone was calming, moved in the room without excessive noise (which was very helpful, during the last stages of labor) and she was completely prepared. I loved her availability through text messages anytime i forgot to ask her something, and this was especially helpful during labor, for both my husband and doula. Highly recommend having Cori part of anyone's pregnancy and birth journey, she'll definitely be part of our second pregnancy!
