I work downtown so I thought it would be more convenient to bring my computer to a computer shop near the down town area for repairs. What a mistake!!! The repair shop, close to my office, put a new battery in my computer but just over 3 months later, the battery swelled. I took the computer into Silicon Valley in Embrun. They advised me that the swollen battery could be dangerous and they offered to remove it and dispose of it. I was so grateful and relieved that they took action immediately and prevented a potentially harmful situation from happening. After that, I had Silicon Valley make the necessary repairs to make my computer run like new. Highly recommend!! There is no other shop that compares.

We were told they could be done onsite, 1 for every 15 minutes. We provided a list ahead of time of what people did in their roles to make it easier. We had a lot of fun while they were in our office, but then we were told that the artist had to take the caricatures away to complete the theme portion of our request. It is now August 2019 and they have not been completed and our project intention has been ruined with employees. We had to pay up front and have been refused any refund for this horrible experience. We were told that they didn't know it was this big of a project but we were very clear, over a phone call and various emails, to explain exactly what we wanted and we don't believe it's an unusual request. If we could give no stars, we would.

Than I start working with Akon ... without really knowing much about life coaching. I taught kind of: what a hack - nothing to loose by giving it a try. Right from the get go, my creative energy got boosted up through the roof! Akon's guidance through each of the sessions was with ease, motivating and trustful. Her mindful presence and clear action steps turned something that felt insurmountable into fulfilling and fun experience for me. After over exceeding my initial challenge in 12 weekly sessions with Akon, I've decided to take on yet another goal with Akon as my ally. Have no doubt that the 2nd coaching cycle with Akon will result in as much success and fun as the previous one. If you are looking to take on something that's important to you - do not hesitate to contact Akon right away. Nothing to loose... and you can thank me later :)

I worked with the creative team at Cyan to redesign a corporate website, for a non-profit agency and the experience was efficient, easy and inspiring. Their downtown office is the place any creative mind would want to work. Located off of Somerset in an old fire hall, the office is full of the character and the charm of the old building is still evident. When you walk into their office - you're welcomed by a team of professional, kind individuals eager to help you on your project. You're given a tour of their super hip office, offered coffee, tea or water and given a bunch of great promo materials. The turnaround time for the project was very fast and the creative team captured exactly what we were looking for in a redesign. The account manager was uber-organized and kept the project on track. The price was fair and included lots of one-on-one technical training, weekly meetings and a very organized timeline. Cyan's team of marketing pros, web design geniuses and graphic design visionaries are a pleasure to work with and produce great results. Check them out if you're looking for a new way to showcase your business.

From the first second of doing business with this company it's been sketchy. We moved our data from…read moreanother provider to DNS Networks. The provider we had prior to DNS were paid for 3 years in advance so we still had a few months left with them. We moved everything over in May of 2015 where at that time we had our older website and we launched our new website in September 2015 at that time we noticed that the old database was still pointing to the previous provider (good thing we still had a few months of services) so when launched the new site the website was not working. The CEO of the company Shawn Ebbs had never switched everything over to his servers like he was suppose to - essentially kicking back the DNS to our old database. Once everything was finally moved properly after a few dozen calls and countless wasted hours, we gave him a call for a refund for the paid hosting that we never used. It took everything for him cave in, gave us a credit for only one month and never apologized for his mistake. In addition to this hosting issue, there was multiple email issues where some emails as simple as our inquiries coming from our website and our accounting system would stop coming in out of nowhere - this probably happened 2 or 3 times in 9 months. From what I can see, Shawn micro manages his clients' emails and chooses what you can and cannot see. One day you may get something, the other you might not. The last trigger was when again we we're not getting our inquiries, we emailed him regarding this reoccurring issue, we were passed the ''being nice stage'' so we were straight to the point and direct in addressing this once and for all. His reply was and I quote: ''Please change email provider, and web hosting provider. We don't accept this disrespectful behavior towards our company and our technicians. You have by the 15th to get all your services off our servers.'' That email was sent February 6th, 2016 leaving us less than 10 days to make a quick change over and there was no way of negotiating with Shawn but he was good at passing the puck around. However this time it wasn't Shawn's fault because our site had been hijacked but at first I thought it was their fault. We were supposed to get a refund for the month of February 2016 and I quote: '' I will reimburse you for the entire month''. When I emailed him about this refund for a second time he said and I quote: ''There is no refund. We provided above the level of support for a website hijacked, pointed to your developer where to look, assisted Kevin to move the DNS/email, and didn't charge prof services.'' The point of this review is not to get a refund but to point out that if you're a small business and don't spend the big corporate money, Shawn will happily cut the cord at the first time he is not pleased with you even if it's his fault. His customer service skills are below any standards one could expect. It has cost us lots of money having to transition twice to a new hosting service in 9 months and wish we didn't had to and certainly wish you won't have to if you're a client or future client of this company. After we finally moved everything out and we could get on with running our business I have had many conversations with colleague and they have heard or been through similar situation with this company. At the time we signed up with DNS Networks we wanted to support a local company but this time we decided to go with a national organization that actually have customer service and will not reply to your technical issue with a 2 liner.
