I asked to speak to the pharmacist ( a middle aged woman) to ask for advise on what to buy to help me with my sore throat. After a short wait, instead of taking me to a private part of the counter like our pharmacist does here in Laval, she nodded her head at me as to say ( what do you want). From behind where she was. I said " here?" She clicked her tongue in disgust and moved to another spot. I was feeling quite poorly so I didn't sass her at all. She answered me short tempered that I had a cold and a sore throat that there was no magic pill. I just had to wait it out. She did not advise me on anything to help the coughing or sore throat. What a bad reflection on Walgreens. The one star goes to a female clerk lady in her sixty's who helped me find what I needed before I left. Btw I know now, it's a laryngitis!

Just because insurance pays for it, doesn't mean I want it or that it's the product that works for me. They would not let me see any choices, only wanted me out of the store  so they could be quick to rush another customer and collect the insurance payment.  They refused to adjust the walker for my height , gave no instructions on how to use it. Besides all this were rude.  Another time, they sent me a months worth of the wrong supplies, and then refused to take them back, even though they were unopened.  So I went a month with no supplies. Because they had billed my insurance, I could not order elsewhere.  Very poor communicators, they just assume they know what you want or need,  and treat people like trash.

The sales associate at Target mentioned that most brands don't make them anymore and suggested I try Walmart next door. At Walmart, it wasn't easy to browse since most of the men's razors were on the upper shelves, and I use a wheelchair. Fortunately, I met a very kind employee named Irial who was stocking shelves. She listened carefully when I explained what I needed and took the time to help -- lifting down one box after another until we finally found exactly what I was looking for: a Remington R3 razor with a sliding on/off switch. I can't say enough about Irial's patience and kindness. She went above and beyond to make sure I could find the right product. I truly hope Walmart recognizes employees like her and continues hiring helpful, compassionate staff

The old Rite Aid at Five Points in Biddeford is now a Walgreens. The signs outside are suppose to direct you. The only sign they showed was for pharmacy outback. The pharmacy doesn't open until 9AM. I finally had to go inside to talk to the lady at the front counter. I told her I was there for a 9AM COVID test, she said I should not come in the store, but wait for a pharmacy employee outback. When I got outback and waited, they looked at me through their window, as if they had no idea what planet they were on. I finally got fed up with their lack of customer service, and went to ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care in Scarborough. It was cheaper, and I got excellent customer service. I called him an ambulance and another person in my party went to inform the management and get narcan. The manager did not seem to care at all and did not give us narcan. Luckily Biddeford EMS is top notch and was able to come within 2 minutes of the initial call. From now on I'll be driving the extra 5 minutes to the "good" Hannaford in Saco.
