I got ripped off at 4 different places before a co worker finally told me about this family that has a shop off of Hillsborough ave. Each time they have came back with pricing that made sense and workmanship that has been outstanding. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Look no farther than Johnny's for caring, HONEST auto repair. The owner recently did the…read moreunthinkable - just before my scheduled pickup time, he called to say that he wasn't 100% happy with the way the vehicle was running and asked if he could keep it overnight - at no additional charge to check a couple of items. He found a minor issue the following morning and released the car early. A very important thing about Johnny's is the level of trust that we have in him servicing our three vehicles. I feel comfortable that my wife or daughter could take their vehicle for work and never be taken advantage of. That is a good sign of an honest auto repair shop.

They gave me a lot of good suggestions and weren't just trying to make a quick buck by recommending items I didn't need or items that were really expensive. When I arrived with the kit, the owner introduced me to the technician who would be working on my car, Juice. I was on a tight timeframe and told them 2 weeks is as long as I can go without my car. I was reassured multiple times this would be no issue, and it would be completed before 2 weeks! 70% upfront payment was necessary, 2 weeks go by, and I am called that they need 3 more days. I live 40 minutes away so decide to stop by the shop. Here, I am told they will actually need at least another week! BecausGe of all this waiting I expressed to him my concern with getting my car back onto the road because I also need to go to a muffler shop to have them install a custom exhaust. This again is no problem for the shop, and they quote me a 400$ price to custom fabricate a catback exhaust (turned out to be a nightmare!). I recieve the car about 23 days later and am extremley dissapointed with the result. As you can see in the photos, the body lines do not line up at all, the underskirt drags on the ground (neglected to bolt it down with the 8 factory screws), and the sideskirts stick out! To make matters worse, the exhaust fabrication job was awful! After hearing a rattling noise that they could not solve even though it was not like this when I brought it to them, I took it to another shop, and was informed an exhaust is not meant to be in a fixed position. Originally the catback had two hangers, allowing the exhaust wiggle room at the engine moves upon acceleration. This fixed position caused the midpipe to scrape the bottom of the car, causing me to need a whole new fabrication job! AVOID THIS PLACE!
