This time I did an extensive research and called 3 different immigration constants here in Edmonton but finally I decided to go with Immigration Nation. The moment I called them they offered me a free consultation and then I went to their office and met one of their Immigration consultants were he explained everything in great details and told me exactly how everything is going to go from there, I really felt lucky to choose this immigration consulting firm this time and decided to move forward with them for reapplying my application. Throughout the whole process from start to finish whenever I call them to ask about anything regarding my application they were so happy to provide me with all the required information. And Finally I got my application approved this time and I would recommend anyone to first do their research before choosing the immigration consultant as this could cost you your life here in Canada.

I applied spousal sponsorship for my spouse through Singh Law Office. I am pleased to inform that…read moremy spouse received Permanent Residency couple of days back. We are not only writing this review for Mr. Singh as we are grateful to him but also for other people who are in immigration doldrums. Our case was complex as described by two other lawyers I approached before reaching out to Mr. Singh. He is very detail orientated, enquired about our relationship and jotted down each small detail on paper and put forward our case effectively. He did an excellent job and guided us on the whole immigration process: communicating with us on every step of progress. We were never left alone at any point of time during the process. Apart from being professional, Mr. Singh is gentleman and listen to needs of his clients patiently. We would not only use Singh Law office again but would also highly recommend them to anyone looking for immigration law services.

I initially retained this law firm on a contingency basis last summer. The lawyer handling my file…read morestopped responding, then I checked their website and his bio was missing; he was no longer there. I phoned and Mr. Snyder returned my call. It turns out this lawyer was gone for quite some time but nobody from this law firm contacted me to tell me that. I was basically left hanging at first until I contacted them myself. He told me the firm was still able to assist me and that someone would contact me the following week. I waited three weeks and never received a call. I couldn't help but wonder whether the nature of my case played a role. My lawsuit is against the RCMP, and I know that many law firms are reluctant to take on that type of case. Mr. Snyder also told me that my lawyer was on an indefinite medical leave, which concerned me because he was very kind and professional. Eventually, that same lawyer contacted me after joining another law firm. He was never sick; Mr. Snyder was actually being dishonest. He told me he left this firm abruptly and expressed negative opinions about his experience there. I can only speak to what I was told, but it certainly added to my concerns, and after my personal experience with them, that doesn't surprise me. He warned me that they will try to gouge me for money. Although my case was accepted on a contingency basis almost a year ago, I have continued receiving requests for approximately $814 in fees, which relate to opening the file and filing costs. I have now received a collection letter in the mail, with interest of about $60. As a Canadian military veteran living on a fixed income, $875 is a significant amount of money to me. One of the reasons many people seek lawyers who work on contingency is because they can't afford hourly legal costs. It's quite petty of this law firm to be continually harassing me for this much money. I am worried that it will be sent to collections, which will cause me real financial hardship.

I sent instructions to have my information released and she said she gets hundreds of emails daily and it is not her concern or requirement to get back to me without instructions from a lawyer although four people instructed me I needed to speak to her. I simply asked why she want returning my calls or even acknowledged my correspondence which was sent to her via email a week earlier. When I requested to speak with the lawyer who is now in charge of my account she put me on hold and I have now been waiting for 20+ minutes. It is highly unprofessional for a paralegal or anyone for that matter to call you stupid, cut you off mid sentence and say that you need to listen to them rather than answering why nobody was getting back to you. I would highly suggest she take an effective communication course or anger management.

After our first consultation, I knew she was the right lawyer for me. My spousal sponsorship case was very difficult and complicated. I applied for this on my own and found myself with a procedural fairness letter. My case was also refused and Rachael put in for judicial review and was able to circumvent the process and have my case re-opened. Rachael was always very quick to respond to each of my requests. She was very caring and empathetic, knowledgeable and competent. She was always willing to answer my questions and listen. I could tell that she really wanted to help me. She is very technologically savvy. She filled out countless applications for us. She was able to ask necessary questions and piece together my story in such a way that accurately and confidently portrayed our journey and the entire picture. She was also willing to work with our local MP. I would use Rachel again to legally represent me. I highly recommend Rachael Anderson as a first class immigration lawyer. My permanent residency application was successfully approved thanks to Rachaels hard work.

Not only are their fees incredibly expense - $4850.00 for any service, the professional service was lacking and almost refuses to respond to communication once paid, over a month on some correspondence, unless threatened by a bad review. I felt abandoned by my attorney. I am currently being deported by CSBA. This is, in my opinion, a direct result of this firm not filing the appropriate applications. Graham knew, yet did not recommend that it get filed at the same time as the original application. Of course the application was denied and another application was filed, but not the one that really needed to be. I hire attorneys for their expertise and knowledge and trust they advise as to what is best for me. I don't feel that was the case here.
