They are patient, which I've seen myriad times in just the two visits I've made. (Meaning, they show patience and warmth even when patients/clients are not very warm or receptive to their requests.) When I first went (the first time), I was a little unsure because my appointment was delayed a little. However, that was due to a one-off of them being down a person. I don't see that this would be a normal situation. (EDITED TO ADD): At the same time, they are super sweet if you are running late, etc - they never get worried about leaving on time even when they close at 5 (this is updated after having been about 6 times now.) They are SO friendly, especially Diane, the front desk lady. She is so sweet and overall, you just get the vibe that you are cared-for. They give you access to a login with videos and print outs to help you continue the training. I had a knee surgery and I am training to run again, so I have aggressive goals. I appreciate that they don't push you too hard and help work with your level/pain tolerance. Not my first knee surgery, and Erin's plan for me has been reducing my pain and helping me heal. I've been treated by Dr. Rutledge twice for two separate issues. Once for shoulder/neck pain. That time it took about two visits to completely heal me. I felt relief after my first visit. The second time which was more recent was for a sharp pain on my glutes area that took a bit longer to heal, but we got it healed. I had been dealing with the pain for over a year until i finally made the time to get it fixed. With adjustments and exercises we got it fixed in about 4 visits. Instead of charging the normal $40 co-pay, they charged him $228 because they said it was a "hospital visit," rather than a physical therapy visit. It was exactly the same type of facility and treatment he would have gotten at a free standing physical therapy facility. I spoke with PARKER at Memorial Hermann and he told me that what is done is done and that it's too late now to do anything about it. I asked if the treatment was any different at the "hospital" and he responded "how am I suppose to know that?" I replied because he worked for Memorial Hermann. He said their price is their price just like the price at McDonald's is their price, and you can't get Burger King's price. He was rude and not at all helpful.
