She has a whole art studio set up next to her house for the kids. She takes them through all the different medium (pastels, oils, water color, etc) in an organized fashion over time. Best of all, the kids can enroll at any time. When the kids are very little, she plays children's music during class to keep them entertained while they work. My daughter has learned so much from her and Miss Natalie is always so nice! Best of all, you can tell she is a legit artist in her own right. We almost signed up for one of those strip mall art classes and I'm so happy we found Miss Natalie instead. Especially with a lot of the creative arts being cut from the public school, it's more important than ever to expose the kids to art. Miss Natalies class is perfect. She has classes after school during the day, evening classes, and classes during school hours for the home schooled kids. We have had to juggle our day and time a couple of times and she is always able to accommodate us. She is great with the kids and always is smiling. When we inquired about enrollment, the teacher specifically told us it was too early to enroll but that the time slot we wanted was available. We were instructed to wait until closer to June and were assured someone from the studio would contact us to finalize enrollment. Since no one ever reached out, I called the office on May 27th to get her enrolled. To my dismay, I was informed that the class was completely full. It was a big surprise, especially since we learned there had been a family on a waitlist for that same spot since April, a detail that was never communicated to us during our May visit.
