Information being withheld, added effort and energy by Tenant etc are all attributes of this company. It has taken 25 emails to properly receive necessary information for a simple fridge replacement/ delivery. No details provided and, once again, I have personally had to invest my own time to manage the incident. The "agent" also did not provide my phone # as direct contact by delivery company which makes zero sense. Tenant should receive any/all pertinent details, P.O. purchase order, contacts, vice versa, as to ensure a seamless endeavor. That being said, it seems as though "Yucca" and surrounding area(s) are used to getting subpar services as a general rule.

Linda did an incredible job representing us as sellers and made the entire process feel so much easier. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and always there when we needed her. Linda kept us informed, explained everything clearly, and worked hard to make sure our interests were protected throughout the sale. The entire staff was also incredibly supportive, helpful, and welcoming whenever we needed assistance. Selling a home can be stressful, but Linda's guidance, along with the support of her wonderful team, gave us confidence every step of the way. We are so thankful for everything they did and would absolutely recommend Linda to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring agent to sell/buy their home.

I was amazed by how responsive and profession the staff at Western Home Builder are. Sandra was responsive and professional during my move out inspection. I also want to say I was incredibly impressed by their maintenance man, Kirk. He had redone the home before I rented it and it was done so well! Every detail was wonderfully done- no painting over holes or outlets. THANK YOU WHB for being incredibly professional, you made my move out there a breeze!

Took almost 2 months to get a brand new washer fixed with little to no follow up from management. Frustrating to say the least and just as a FYI there are no laundry mats in 29 Palms. 2. Whoever the new woman is working there (Sandra) could benefit from some email etiquette training. When your primary form of communication is via email it would benefit you to sound remotely professional. 3. Overall the management/owners were unprofessional and rude. I was continually confused about why I was asked to fill work orders out with details that were blatantly not reviewed prior to coming to the unit. Received email warnings about "excess animal waste" outside our unit when we didn't have a pet at the time. There aren't many options in 29 and it seems Western Home Builders seems to be aware of the lack of competition with how unprofessional they are. If you have to deal with them be prepared for some of the most subpar customer service there is and bring your patience because you'll need it.

One of my favorite things about Tom is that his a no BS kind of guy, and will always tell you exactly what he thinks about a property, good or bad. I felt like he legitimately wanted to help me find a house that I was happy with and always focused his efforts based on that end goal. Tom is very smart, patient and thorough, always making the extra effort to make sure we had all the information and time we needed to be completely sure of our decisions. Trust was a huge factor for us, as this was our first out-of-state purchase. Tom's approach was so honest and low-pressure throughout the process that we always felt we had an advantage over other buyers. Which helped immensely during our hotly-contested purchase process. We can't say this enough, Tom is a FANTASTIC agent!

The AppFolio app made it extremely easy to submit maintenance requests and pay rent electronically. The maintenance staff are experienced as well. During my tenancy, Sarah was consistently responsive to my texts, calls, and emails whenever I needed assistance. A few years later, after moving into my own home, I unexpectedly had to leave Twentynine Palms for work and needed help managing my property while I was away. Harcourts Prime Properties immediately came to mind because of the trust I had built with them over the years. Just like Sarah, Zach has been excellent to work with, providing clear, timely communication throughout the property management process. Highly recommended!

One of the co-owners, Jaime Queen used to work at Marr Realty before splitting off and starting Desert Queen. I do not currently rent property from Desert Queen but my in-laws, who are senior citizens, do and it has been difficult dealing with Desert Queen. To start off, they don't have a brick and mortar office that you can go to. Of course, I did find an address in Joshua Tree which I suspect is probably a residential address. Other than that, they have a PO box that rent checks get sent to and the only way to get a hold of them is by phone. My in-laws have a messed up garbage disposal that they called about a couple of months ago but that issue was never resolved. They had another issue involving the garage door which took about a month to even schedule a time for someone to come out and fix. Jaime doesn't call back in a timely manner nor does any follow up calls to make sure things get done. She doesn't take the time to understand what someone is trying to say and it does not help that she has a bad attitude. She lacks customer service skills and is not tactful or polite. If I was a property owner and all I wanted to do was collect checks, then Desert Queen would be the perfect choice. They will get that money for you.
