As someone who has always struggled with trusting others--especially within the healthcare system--I can honestly say that my experience with this agency has completely changed my perspective. From the very beginning, I felt that the staff genuinely cared about my well-being and were committed to providing meaningful support rather than just going through the motions. What truly stands out about Hope Behavioral Health Services is the level of compassion, professionalism, and consistency they demonstrate with their clients. The agency creates an environment where individuals feel respected, heard, and supported. It is clear that their goal is not only to provide services but to help people truly grow and improve their emotional well-being. My therapist, in particular, has been exceptional. She has shown a level of commitment and dedication that has made a tremendous difference in my life. She has always been receptive to my concerns, flexible when situations arise, and open to meeting when support is needed. Knowing that I have someone who is willing to make the time and truly listen has helped me build trust in a way that I never expected. Over the past two years, I have felt supported, understood, and encouraged to work through difficult challenges. My therapist's patience, insight, and genuine care have helped me feel more confident in addressing issues that I once avoided. Their dedication to their clients is evident in every interaction, and they have made a lasting impact on my journey toward emotional wellness.

But that's where the bar stops. The actual customer service can use some improvement. The front desk receptionist(older African American lady with glasses)needs to have a better understanding of how she speaks and the tone of her words. She's not someone that I would prefer to deal with when it comes to making appointments or just for general help. She won't even apologize for the mistakes she made have made and or show some sort of empathy. She thinks it's ok just to have mental lapses..I usually have a greater respect and understanding for older people no matter what color. But when you feel like your above or better than, I will put you in place respectfully. In my opinion she needs either training and or possibly another assignment that keeps her from dealing with patients who legitimately need help.

I was recommend to go to Physical Therapy. Physical Therapy can be a real bear to deal with when…read moreyou have to go couple of times a week. My doctor referred me to Absolute Rehabilitative Therapy. I was not looking forward to coming and thought it would be a waste of time. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of Professionalism and knowledge that Dr. Martin displayed during my evaluation. He was able to accurately diagnose my condition as Rotator Cuff Tendinitis. Whereas my personal doctor and the Urgent care doctor brushed it off . I was a little biased that Physical therapy would not help and I viewed it as a useless exercise. I was very surprised that my should did recover and I was able to resume some of the exercises since my shoulder was healing. The exercises, the deep tissue massages and the Ultrasound therapies were great. I will miss the Ultrasound Therapy and the Deep tissue massage the most. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. The Office Manager Catherine was always available to answer any questions that I had. The front desk receptionist Noel was always efficient in calling me for my reminder appointments. Erica, Irene and Doug helped to make physical therapy bearable with their pleasant demeanor and easy going manner. They also work very well with children who were there for services or the kids that tagged along with their parents. They also had very convenient hours so I didn't have to miss time from work for my appointments. The only thing they could work on is having a dedicated assistant to work with the clients during the appointments. Sometimes I would forget the exercises so it would be helpful to have the assistant stand by to make sure you are doing it correctly. They would correct me when they saw my form was wrong. Sometimes they were busy setting up rooms or assisting other clients. Dr. Martin had the option to either extend my PT or discharge me. I asked him what his recommendation would be. He suggested that I be discharged since I was about 85 percent healed. I was impressed because some doctors would just keep adding in visits to get more money out of the insurance. After 2 months of visits I was happy to be leaving with a stronger shoulder and less pain. I would recommend Absolute Physical Therapy to anyone who needs a reputable physical therapy practice.

Not only does she use her education to treat her patients, but she also adds her knowledge and wisdom of over 40 years of experience. I love Dr. Mathews and so do all of her patients! She is a wonderful employer as well. She is empathetic, never has a bad thing to say about anybody for all years I have known this beautiful soul. I have had many patients tell me personally that Dr. Mathews has done for them what no other doctor has been able to do for them. This is because she is "old school" she actually uses charts. We are a paper office and she takes the charts home. She researches while putting symptoms, complaints etc. together like a puzzle. All of this is possible due to the support of her staff! Her sister Asha runs EVERYTHING and is amazing! I know NOBODY is perfect, but when it comes to Asha no lies she's not made one mistake since I've been working here! Asha and Dr. Mathews' minds are like elephants! They remember everything about ANY patient down to the detail!( where it is in a pile of charts with the same name!) Sheila handles the billing and is the most professional, pleasant person to work with. I have to say I have the dream job. If you want a dream neurologist, Dr. Mathews is the one.
