The atmosphere feels tense and unhappy. Whether it's poor leadership, burnout, or staffing issues, it's noticeable the moment you walk in. As a younger patient dealing with complex health concerns, I want to understand my treatment and ask questions. Instead, I often feel rushed or dismissed rather than heard. Check the docs boxes and be on your way. And for the love of God, turn the air conditioning on or turn it up. Every visit feels uncomfortably warm, especially when you're already waiting well past your appointment time. Patients deserve to feel respected, listened to, and cared for. Right now, this office feels more focused on getting people in and out than providing a positive patient experience. I sincerely hope they take a hard look at their processes because there is a lot of room for improvement. I left countless messages over a period of two months. I do have some major neurological issues. I finally walked into their office and waited till they had a few minutes. I have a good relationship when I got to see my urologist she said she never received one message from me and I believe her that's unacceptable. I had an appointment with my urologist at 9:30 in the morning 530 the night before I get a call for this company from somebody I couldn't understand only to inform me that I was out of network. It did take nearly 4 months to get an appointment but she was worth the wait. The only issue I had was they are reworking their schedule and I was not able to make a 3 month follow up before I left the office. They said to call back in January to get an appointment in January. With my previous experience getting an appointment with them this gives me pause but I will try and I will return to Dr. Gonzales-Gotay.
