We just had another visit to Sharky's while driving back from Daytona. It was just as remembered; cute place, huge menu, (hot subs, cold subs, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, wings, salads, etc.,) clean restaurant with plenty of seating, and a friendly knowledgeable staff. The prices are reasonable and the food is yummy! I had a 6 inch turkey sub. It was tasty and fresh, even the bread was really good. My husband had a Buffalo Soldier sub which had a heaping helping of chicken, with cheddar cheese and bacon; plus just the right amount is spice. They have counter ordering; but the food was delivered to our table.....pretty quickly too. I love to support small businesses and I'm happy that Sharky's is still thriving. We'll be making this our regular stop when we drive through Fort Pierce. read more

Is there new management here? I've been coming to Sharky's for years while I visit north Hutchison island. I drive across the state to get here to arrive at noontime, so I've always had lunch there. This time was different. The Great White sandwich I ordered had hardly any meat on it compared to previous years. I was so disappointed, it was mostly just bread! My wife said the same thing about her sandwich. Mostly bread and just a thin layer of meat. The next day I had a sandwich at a Subway, they piled on the meat and it was a great sandwich. I'll try you one more time, but Sharky's, you need to stop skimping on meat and get better or you're going to lose customers....including a long time customer like me. read more

Spent the morning at the inlet and was looking forward to an early lunch and a cold beer. I checked the information and it said they open at 10am. We arrived at 10;40 am. The door was open and the sign said open. We were greeted by a woman that informed us they wouldn't be opening until 11 today. Best business practices would have been to offer us a drink while we waited until 11 to order our food. Very disappointing. We won't be visiting their restaurant anytime soon. read more

Cool little restaurant. It took a little while to get our food but it was pretty busy, so that was understandable. The staff was very friendly. We got the Cuban sandwich, New England clam chowder and bohemian soup. Then we got a coconut Bombay cake to go. My wife said I have to take her back for more cake! read more

Sharky's might be the first restaurant run solely by sharks. When you walk in there's a shark in the front of the restaurant holding the chalkboard telling you about their deals. Then when you order another shark comes up. Hahaha I'm just kidding! There's no shark here not even on the menu. Sharky's is located and a part of the beach where there's literally nothing around you for miles. The menu here is pretty large and diverse. I often come here and get sandwiches working in this area of beachside. Stores always clean inside. The staff is always friendly and as fast as they can be. There's always a lot of jokes and songs coming out of the kitchen. Which is a good thing because a Happy chef makes happy food. I've tried almost everything on the menu at this point but I have to say there isn't a single item so I suggest avoided. The food is always really good and nice and hot. read more

The Clam Chowder is HuMMmaZing! Food is really good. We had the panco shrimp basket and the fish and chips. One of the first places I ate at when my parents moved to the area. The corn bites are a staple in this family. Very sweet and perfectly crunchy and flavorful. The staff is friendly and I recommend any of the seafood options, my favorite being the mahi sandwich. Horrible place, food is bad, service is rude, I ordered clam chowder soup bowl and it was bad, it was bowl of water of sewage, it looks like someone just used full bucket of water and just put one small teaspoon of soup and mixed up, very watery, taste bad, I also had plate of house salad, which supposed to have tomatoes in it, but there were minced rotten few and lettuce was yellow with spoiled leaves, was bad salad, finally I had cold sandwich with turkey cheese and beef cuts, it was bad not even enough cheese just small, not even tomatoes and lettuce but just few sprinkles on the top not in between, horrible, taste horrible, I asked for money back, the woman manager yelled at me was rude abusing and insulted me on front of customers and workers, yelled at me that she had been working here 11 years, the service was bad, rude, nasty manager, she harassed me and insulting continued arguing with me and abusing me, when I asked for the owner phone number she refused to provide, she thinks that it is ok to speak with customer this abusive rude way, she doesn't know what customer service is and the server spent time chatting with her man friend not paying attention to me, she also was rude and had bad attitude the same as the manager, both used profanity and slang slurs. I do not recommend anyone to eat there, I also feel sick with my stomach after eating there, had pain in my stomach and diarrhea. read more

Wait staff is very welcoming and friendly. The cooks need to be replaced. This is the only restaurant on the island so out of need I called and ordered a pizza, nothing fancy just a cheese pizza. They told me 15 to 20 min. I show up 25 min after I placed the order. The pizza isn't ready. No surprise the cooks are slow after waiting for 10 min I get the pizza. The waitress opens the box and notice the cheese is all burnt. I say no thank you I don't want it. She said I wouldn't eat it either. Let me get you another. I said I can't wait 20 min for them to make a new one. She said oh no it won't take that long. She lied I waited 20 min this time I have this half baked pizza. Low quality cheese. If you live or just visiting North hutchinson island , this place from the outside has the appearance of should i go in? Like most things in retro areas of Florida don't make assumptions until you actually see it for yourself .. once inside its really cute tiki bar vibes with surfing videos , good rock music, great ice cold beer glasses perfect for your draft beer, and don't pass-up on of the favorites on the menu the mahi-mahi sandwich. I like mine blackened..they definitely do it up right. French fries are fresh crinkle cut and yes they will make em xtra crispy. The staff are favorites to the locals and you can tell there are regulars who are beloved. This is the beauty of Florida you just never know where you might find really great service food and a story to share. I just love that there are places like this. read more

This place was recommended to me as we were looking for good food with outdoor dining. The outdoor dining here I would say is limited but they do have 2 tables outside that you can dry off if you are still wet from the beach. They have a very divey feel inside. But the true shining star of this establishment and why we keep coming back are there wings. Best wings in the Ft.Pierce/Port St. Lucie area. I sought out Sharkys because 1) walking distance from airbnb 2) basically the only restaurant on N. Hutchison Island 3) too tired from unpacking or too stoned/drunk from all day at the beach to cook or go out to eat LOL. The ordering for takeout was easy to do. When I got there and walked in, I immediately got that O.G. Florida beach dive vibe. Prices were reasonable, considering the convenience of the location. We tried the chicken caesar salad, sweet corn bites, and nuclear specialty wings. All were "ok". The menu item that really stood out for me was the Buffalo Soldier Hot Sub. Juicy buffalo tenders, liberally topped with cheddar and bacon, topped with ranch. Just as good as any Pubsub, plus you don't have to drive to the mainland where the nearest Publix is. So, personally, I wouldn't dine in at Sharkys, but as a takeout option, they fit the bill for us perfectly. Next visit I plan to pickup some of their cold subs, put 'em in the cooler, and hit the beach! read more

We stumbled upon this little dive a few days back and love the blackened mahi sandwiches. The tartar sauce taste homemade. It may be strong for some, but just right to balance all of the flavors for me. I can't speak to any of the other items, as we're stuck on the sandwiches! I sub out and get the sweet potato fries which I love and we can't resist the key lime pie, it's super tart and taste like real key limes. To me it's the quintessential Florida meal! read more
