I had a large order of jumbo shrimp when I tell you these are some of the best shrimp that I have had at any of the sharks or some of the other places I get Shrimp from too because I'm a avid lover of fried shrimp. These are really really good not overcooked still juicy a lot of flavor. Fries are good reasonable amount for the dollar you pay. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I ordered a large catfish fillet and when I got home it was a large order of Swai. I had this problem at the JJ Fish on 82nd as well. I went back and stated to him that I ordered Catfish fillet but I received Swai Fish. He told me that's it's the same thing and every place is giving Swai for catfish. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. It looks like it's new management and they are giving you anything they want to. I wish I could've given them 0 stars read more

I called them today trying to place an order and the guy on the phone was rude. I've placed this order a bunch of times before and now all of a sudden i couldn't today. I explained my order to him which was a large perch order but add an extra perch to it (one large order equals 5 perch); he said it was $18 but when i added just one extra piece of perch to it he said it was $30 something i tried reasoning with him but instead he just hung up on me. After that i called JJ FISH on 17324 Torrence Ave Lansing, IL and i placed the same order Maaaaaaaaaan they hooked it up the Perch was bigger and crispyerrr and cheaper i dont know why i even messed with that place in the first place. If you want better deals and better food hit them up instead cause the sharks on torrence on some BS read more

2 bucks wasted!! I purchased a bottle of soda recently - The attached picture clearly shows the safety seal is broken (the cap was loose as well) - An establishment that cares about the well -being of its customers would've performed a Quality Check on all items before placing them for sale. Who knows WHY this cap seal was broken, but I damn sure will not be drinking it, nor will I waste gas to drive all the way back to the restaurant to return it - Makes more sense to cut my losses and never purchase anything else from this business - . read more

Generous Catfish Nugget serving at large $14.99 but I find it irritating to have a tip on receipt when one just purchasing not sitting in dining. It seems that is a trend with fast foods nowadays. Even McDonalds ask if you want to donate to a charitable organization. It's intimidating. read more

I came in during lunch. The lady at the front counter was very polite and fast. My food was made fresh and delicious. Def recommend this location read more

The catfish nuggets are my go to but the chicken wings are great too. The staff is nice and the wait isn't long at all.

Well I visited this Sharks in lansing on 4/11/2021 I called in an order for 6 wings, the price was $9.84 all together, I was already on their lot when I called and was told about 10 minutes. I go inside after about 5 minutes and notice they had a 5 wing special for $6.99, I had already paid 9.84 and decided to just get 5 instead of 6 wings saving myself 2.35. When I informed the young man who took my order I only wanted 5 not 6 he said well it will still be almost 8.00 for the 5, I said no it should only be about 10% tax on 6.99 he ended up refunding the difference. Meanwhile its been about 15 minutes since I placed my order the cook had dropped about 60 wings in the fryer so I guess mine were comming out of those. The problem was now I was suppose to wait another 15 or so minutes instead of the original 10. Why would he not drop my wings separate? I was the only one in the place? The young man was taking large phone orders of chicken but I only wanted 5!! Also they were for my elderly Mother. While the wings were cooking I was watching the cook the whole time he pulled out some raw catfish with his gloved hands after dealing with the chicken and proceeded to bread the fish with his same gloves on. Well after what seemed like forever, the cook pulled the chicken from the grease he dropped fresh fries and when they were done, with his same gloves on he used on the raw fish he proceeded to take his contaminated gloved hand and grab my fries and grab my wings!! I couldn't believe he did that where were the tongs? I have my Safe Serve Certificate and I know proper food handling,I yelled out you did not change your gloves from the raw fish now you're touching my cooked food that is for my Mother!! you could make her sick!! The cook yelled something back at me and I think he threw one of his gloves. I asked did he have his Safe Serve Certificate? he didn't answer and I didn't see it posted anywhere. Moral of the story this behavior probably goes on all the time and someone could or maybe has gotten sick before. We have enough going on with Covid to take chances with poor food handing when it can be avoided. I asked for a refund and walked out!! If you can see in the kitchen watch how they handle your food!! Wish I could give 0 stars please do better Sharks!!! read more

Always deliciously prepared food, & good service. Eating area is clean & comfortable.

After reading the reviews I was skeptical about buying chicken from this location but I'm so happy that I did. The chicken was seasoned so well and very crispy, my family loved it and I'll be purchasing more in the near future. read more

This is the only Sharks I order from. Always clean and food is fresh! I have no complaints when it comes to service. The staff are very friendly with great customer service as well. read more

Only gave it 1 star because the food is good, otherwise would be a 0. EVERY time I come here, the person at the counter is rude. Not a lick of a sense of customer service. The sad part is, it's not even one person because my family and I have visited on multiple occasions, with (3) different (female) employees, and we catch attitude every single time for no apparent reason. It's extremely unnecessary, and we are nowhere near rude customers (trust me) - we actually handle rude customers daily so we go out of our way when visiting businesses to be kind to employees. This place needs to work on who they hire to be at the front taking orders. I can easily patronize another location or another franchise overall with my money for fried foods with mild sauce (which they won't even put on your food anymore, you have to pay extra for it now!). Ridiculous. read more

The shrimp are Doughy ...the wings are ok ! Fries are junk not crispy ! IF I EVER go to this establishment again fried will be asked to be well done # 1 and # 2 I will not EVER LET the girl that took my order take care of me again she was rude and disrespectful!! We just now got back with our food at 8:40 pm ...she's short dark skinned the other young lady was nice and respectful! Love the coating on the chicken ! Needs more spice it's bland ..maybe 2 choices spicy and regular...it's fresh which I LOVE !! But it's literally bland !! Especially with no blue cheese options for dipping ....wasn't offered celery which is a plus with wings ..the young lady yet again was Rudeand thought I'm assuming that she is in the customer service industry but can be rude to a white woman when she pleases ..and get away with it ...will be my first AND LAST visit if I walk in and is there and it wasn't just with me ! It was with EVERY customer that came in !! When dealing with the public you have to have a great attitude!! No matter what's going on in your personal life ! And trust me this woman has nothing in personal life going on she is just RUDE !! And doesn't like her job or hated serving a whites woman ...my opinion ..but I call it as I see it ! AND y'all don't serve white meat chicken !! What a disgrace!! Healthiest chicken meat on a Bird !! I'm talking about Breasts !! That's where it's at other then wings ! And I just let my husband taste my chicken there is ABSOLUTELY no seasoning in the breading and I agree ! Idk how you've made it this long with JUNK for chicken but y'all need to step it up if y'all want to stay in this business!! And purchased the cookie cheesecake separately and it's soggy with barely flavor where's my crunchy cookie crust ? Hubby and the Chocolate cake is dry asf ! Y'all gonna loose if you don't get on the ball! Trying to help which is why I do reviews ? read more

Didn't care for this spot, I got fried shrimp and fries and you could tell they used the same oil for do fry their fish fries and shrimp. Also the oil was old. The service was terrible also, it was my first time going their and the girl at the front desk seemed annoyed when I asked questions. Wouldn't go back. Too expensive and it does not taste good. read more

Until recently the food was excellently prepared! But lately I've been ordering their Jumbo Shrimp Dinner for $14.99. First time everything was great minus a few issues with my order. Ordered another (2) dinners yesterday and when I got home and started eating, I noticed there were regular(medium) shrimp on the BOTTOM of my order with the JUMBO SHRIMP on TOP. Word to the wise, INSPECT your JUMBO SHRIMP order before paying for it. WARNING!!!! Apparently this is their way of cutting cost and scamming you!!!! read more

This will be my last visit here. This place is the worst. Rather rude counter people normally but the woman today was beyond ignorant. Then because we butted heads, she poured lemon pepper seasoning all over the entire order fries included. When I asked what she had done, more attitude before she threw the order back at the cook. I don't blame him, it was all her. If I wanted lemon pepper fish and fries, I would have ordered it that way! Try to eat now I'm barely able to swallow it down. This place has gone to the dogs. Save your self the trouble, visit the Sharks in Cal City instead. Made the way you would expect there and the person on the other side of the counter is at least pleasant. read more

Just left there and the chicken and gizzards were fresh. Seasoned nicely and excellent. Almost made myself sick. Couldn't stop eating. Service was friendly. Please don't change read more
