The brand is OPI. On the same evening, the nail polish already started to chip!!! I had to remove it a few days after. the situation is the same for my friends. Apparently it's not common to apply any top coat after the nail polish. With such a poor quality service I won't get back! At least when I apply some nail polish at home it never chips that easily because I put top coat. I feel like I've wasted my money!!!

The service appalling. We feel mistreated and stressed. We are so indignant at how other customers were treated. Who will answer for this horrible service? Our appointment was booked a week in advance and we arrived giddy with excitement at 6:00pm sharp. We were received poorly and told to sit and wait. We never offered a magazine, nor a beverage, nor a warm welcome. Out of the two women at Mybar, the first and older woman quickly pretended we had booked express services instead of complete manicures and pedicures and complained non-stop to her colleague about her other colleague who was sick and had left them in the lurch. After 20 minutes, my friend was seated and her feet were place in almost-cold water which went on to become even colder by the time it was 18.57 and the younger mybar girl walked up from an eyebrow threading walk-in to announce she was ready to do the pedicure. When we told her it was outrageous and that we were leaving, she started to argue that it hadn't been that long instead of apologizing. My nail varnish session-by the older woman was rushed, uncomfortable, she tapped her fingers angrily when she wanted me to dry my nails in the UV machine and made passive-aggressive comments all the way through. When I said it was just a matter of calling us to either cancel the appointment or not taking more clients than they could handle, her only response was that they didn't have time to make the call. They did ironically have time to: - take 4 new walk-ins while we were seated. - She also had time to berate a client for using a plug to charge her phone, till the client, who had already been waiting for over half an hour left. - and time to make the other clients so uncomfortable that they simply exchanged miserable looks, stayed silent and left as soon as they could. - talk in Arabic to her colleague while her other customers talked in French. - pretend she did not understand when I translated from English to French for English-speaking clients who had arrived for appointments but who were told rudely to return or wait. They have an "only cash" handwritten sign, which required I borrow money of my friend to pay for my rushed, uncomfortable service. I feel cheated out of the money. Especially since each time a new walk-in would come in she would explain that my nails were a quick affair that only required ten minutes of her time. I am very sorry for both the employees if they were stressed at the amount of clients coming and going. I understand that they felt overwhelmed because they were short on staff. However, this should never be an excuse to mistreat clients so badly. On the contrary, we were in such a great mood and looking forward so much that we easily could have waited happily with good communication and good service! We did not have to pay the price for their bad moods. In a service industry having such awful service makes no sense at all! Are they closing soon? Only this would explain such lousy treatment. Pity we can't give them 0 starts!

If someone is over 15min late for their appointment, why on earth should they be allowed to interrupt mine? I even offered to just wait until 5:30 but the woman informed me that if the other client showed up after 5:30, she would still pause my service and take her. Bad policy in my opinion. The photos online look like good work but I don't want to go to a place that would give priority to someone who doesn't respect their time or mine.

The gel mani was quick and came out beautiful, for only 25 euros! The pedicure was a bit more expensive, but my feet needed a lot of work from walking around so much and they really went the extra mile to clean them up. My hair was a mess after the long flight from California and I needed a good stylist. I found this salon not too far from my hotel. The junior stylist who washed and blew dry my hair was so good that I didn't need to do anything for the first few days of my meeting. I came back the day before my departure to get color and cut. I was overwhelmed with the results by the senior stylist (there seemed to be only two women there). The price was very reasonable compared to what I pay in CA. I don't know if they speak English but I was able to communicate with them in my very limited French and hand gestures. I am definitely coming back during my next business trip here!

Instead of removing the gel with the usual method(Acetone, cotton, & foil), the beautician rubbed it off with electric nail drill and then put on a messy uneven layer of gelish. My nails looked horrible. I asked her to remove it. She did it so unskillfully with electric nail drill again that on certain parts she almost got through them. Now my nails are damaged and injured, parts are ripped and teared and they hurt like hell. When I complained, she agreed to give me a refund, and she told me that the person who used to do the manicure was not in today. I lost 1.5 hours of my time, my nails look awful and they still hurt. I definitely will not suggest this place to anyone.

Honestly, I have NO idea how their waxing reviews are so great. I'm no stranger to waxing, but have NEVER had an experience like this. The woman waxing me didn't wear gloves and by the time I realized that she had been REUSING THE SAME WAXING STICK THROUGHOUT THE SESSION it was too late for me to do anything. During the wax, the woman kept opening the door and leaving while I was bottomless with my legs spread apart and wax left on my body. And then, even though I specifically kept asking, gesturing, etc. for her to leave a little hair on my labia because I have sensitive skin, she waxed it anyway. To add insult to injury, it has now come to my attention that she actually lifted patches of skin off of my pelvic area, leaving me with painful red blotches and an obvious burn. To her credit, when I expressed how upset I was with the wax, she didn't charge me. Thank goodness, though, because it has cost me that much at the pharmacy to pick up anti-bacterial sprays and creams just to try soothing the damage that had been done. Needless to say, I'm still livid. The kicker? When I asked to see the manager, it turned out that she was the manager. Thank you for not charging me, but this should never have been an issue.
