$975 for five hour rental in the hummer limo. Limo shows up and has cracked windshield and the roof paint full of cracks and paint peeling.... Ok. It is what it is... this is for my son's graduation dinner and party. Air conditioning in the hummer was not working with 16 guys in the back dropped off after a 45 minute drive to a dinner party. After dinner the hummer limo breaks down. A belt broke and the hummer lost steering and breaks. The hummer was stranded for an hour until a Mercedes van picked up the boys which did not even hold 16 passengers. I was never notified by the company that the my son and his fiends were stranded. DO NOT USE THEM! If I could post with zero stars I 100% would do so. Hired them to transport our family for a small wedding and was INCREDIBLY upset with how bad their vehicle was, their driver behaved, and overall service. Planning went very well with them, they helped figure out the right vehicle for our small party and how much time we needed to account for transportation from Downtown San Antonio out to Boerne. Then the day of our wedding, first the sprinter van showed up to the hotel late. So it got to the venue even later than it was supposed to. Again, this was after our initial conversation with Shark/Elite about how much time it would take to get from the hotel to the venue. They were wrong. Driver was told the area we were in didn't have good cell phone reception, and he wasn't familiar with the area either, we also told him it was going to be a short ceremony and to stay at the venue. He decided he knew better and went out to go find some food. We leave the venue and he is no where to be seen! Trying to call him from land line phone at venue, he had no service or he ignored it. Tried calling the office and nobody there was answering. He finally came back almost an hour later and tried to keep on assuring us we were on time, even though we clearly weren't and kept telling him that, he ignored us and just assured us we were on time and everything was fine. Getting on the van, ugh, the van we got was NOTHING like what was shown to us in the pictures on their site. Seats were torn, air didn't work, there was one single bottle of water and six cups for twelve people..... We finally made it back to the hotel over an hour late because the driver decided he didn't want to follow Google map navigation to avoid traffic (We were able to see navigation on his phone from it mounted on the dashboard). Do not use Shark/Elite Transportation, whatever their name is. Their drivers have their own idea for the timeline, the pictures of their vehicles on their website cannot be trusted, coordinating the planning of timeline with the company is completely off. Almost ruined our wedding, completely lost time with vendors. We passed along our experience to our hotel, planner, and every other vendor associated with our wedding and they all are removing this company from this lists of preferred vendors. I would give them no stars if I could. Such an UNPROFESSIONAL company with poor customer service. We were hoping to celebrate my daughters sweet 16 with this company. We were interested in the biggest bus they had for a minimum of 3 hours. An easy $1000 for them. I spoke to one of the owners wives. She said Mark (the owner) could show me the bus on a Thursday Friday or Saturday. Those days are so busy for me but when your a mom you make it work. So we agree on Thursday at 4:30. We fought traffic for almost an hour and a half to get there on time. We pull up to the business and guess what? NO ONE IS FUCKING THERE! So I call that airhead lady again.. remember the owners wife that arranged this whole thing. All of a sudden she has 101 excuses. "We're short staffed" "Marks on another job" "it's been a crazy week" All the excuses in the world that don't mean shit to me. It takes all of 2 minutes to call me and let me know no one will be there. 1 minute if she just sent me a text. She had close to 48 hours to let me know. She tells me Mark can show it to me but I have to wait an HOUR. Like I have absolutely nothing to do with my life. This company and their customers must mean absolutely nothing to them. Business must be so good during this pandemic that she can just make appointments with people and not show up. I'm absolutely disgusted with the type of service I received. I contacted Shark Limo as last minute as you can imagine (11pm the night before an 11am trip the following day). Mark was amazing: professional, helpful and courteous. He accommodated our last minute request, followed up the next morning and continued to help at every turn. Daniel, our driver, texted to let us know he was running late, but honestly, who cares as long as they give you the heads up??! Daniel was an amazing, patient and super- polite young man who represented his company superbly. Suffice it to say that we will be using Shark again when our son gets married. Wanted to reserve a car to the airport. Their website says they do transport to the airport with car seats and even says "we'll shlep your kids to the airport". When I called to reserve the car, they said they only have one car seat available. Not very helpful if you've got kids. That's no way to run a business. read more

I want to make it clear now that I am only giving 3 stars due to the fact that I didn't receive too much grief when asking for a full refund. Shane was very polite over the phone and I don't want to smash them completely. That being said... I hired a company in San Marcos my girlfriend's bachelorette party in Austin. They ended up contracting a limo from Shark for our event. The limo was roughly 30 minutes late picking us up from our house that evening. The driver then spent another good half-hour showing us how to use all the controls inside the limo (i.e. radio, lights, etc.) and flipping through CDs for us to use. Which is cool, but I would've rather been downtown instead. By the time we finally got downtown it was 10:30 (mind you, we were supposed to be picked up at 9 and we live 20 minutes from downtown). Once we made it to downtown we had a fantastic evening and all our plans went off without a hitch. 2 am. Meeting time with the limo driver at the same place he dropped us off. He's not there. I was in contact with him 6 minutes prior to 2 am and now he's not here. Ok, so we try to make ourselves more visible from the road and wait. 30 minutes later we start calling him. No answer, straight to voicemail. We eventually filled up his cellphone's voicemail with messages. We start calling the company I hired. He has no idea and says he'll try to get in touch with the driver and Shark. Fast-forward an hour and half to 3:30 in the morning. Here we are, 6 girls stranded on 7th street, all our jackets/purses/etc still in the limo and we finally hear back from the driver. His first claim was his phone wasn't working. Well, yes, that happens sometimes but why not meet us at the pre-arranged pick up spot? Then he says later that he fell asleep. Wow. Needless to say, I was not thrilled to be shelling out close to $600 for this experience. When I made my feelings know to Shark, they were a little standoff-ish at first but eventually called me back letting me know we would get over half our money back. A full refund would've rocked but to be fair they did get us downtown and back, however late it may have been. I will be very wary if I decide to rent a limo ever again. read more

Would not recommend this company. Where do I start? I rented from shark on June 22nd 2019. My little brother was getting married and we needed 2 different limos. 1 for the groomsmen and 1 for the bridesmaids. The week of the bachelor party we decided to get a 3rd limo "party bus" and thought getting it from shark would be the best thing because I already paid in full for 2.. well that was a bad idea. The party bus was nice but the driver was rude as if he didn't want to be working and kept dropping hints for us to hurry up..A/C sucked but we didn't care we just wanted to have a good night.. now let's fast forward to the wedding day.. the guys limo was an Excursion and the girls was a Hummer, both limos were on time but for some reason the girls limo was no longer a Hummer and was replaced with a party bus. No one called to give an Explanation of this they just did it. My wife called me from the party bus saying that the air conditioning was broke and spitting out water. That weather was close to 100 degrees!! The brides dress got wet from the A/C and the brides mother also got wet.. The girls makeup was messed up along with their hair. You can imagine how upsetting this was not only for the bride but everyone that had to ride in that party bus.. I spoke the Ruth from shark limo and she was very nice about it and offered me a refund of $204.00 I think. Because I still haven't heard back from them. Now let's put this into perspective. 3 limos, hair, makeup, damage wedding dress, damaged mother dress. Switching the limo without explaining why.. and they want to give me back $200.00.. ???? Awful experience. If I could give a negative rating I would. Used Shark for a limo to get my brother & family to his wedding & the air conditioner wasn't working for a 30 min ride in tuxedos in Texas weather. Apparently they were aware bc I could hear the driver making jokes about it when he called it in. When I called myself this awful man laughed & said I was just trying to get a free limo. Clearly that wasn't the case since I'd already paid for it. Instead of sending a limo that actually had WORKING air conditioner, they left us downtown with no transportation & we had to Uber to the reception venue. Make-up running, hair a mess from sweating & ruined the pictures we'd paid a LOT of money to look good in & they thought it was a joke. The only joke is Shark Limo. Should be ashamed of yourself. I'm absolutely disgusted by the service & the entire experience....AWFUL!!!! read more

Worst company EVER!! Don't ever use them! My daughter and her court of 16 were left stranded for over an hour because the party buses got "over heated" on their way to the church. So they sent a back up stretch limo to get them.. 15mins later we call back and learn that the limo too got over heated... No one bothered calling or letting anyone know. We had to call them to see what was going on after they didnt show up at the time they were suppose to. We booked a party bus for our company Christmas party, and it was an absolute nightmare! First of all, the driver was 15 minutes late picking up the first round of people, but luckily I got credited for the time. There was no music on the bus, only the staticky radio playing and the driver never once explained how to change the music, or anything. He was incredibly unpleasant. The worst was the ride. It was so bumpy, and the driver was so reckless that we couldn't even enjoy our drinks on the bus. Multiple people spilled their drinks all over themselves. The bus ride was so bad, that after the driver dropped off everyone at the restaurant, he went to switch buses and came back in a new bus. Unfortunately, the new bus was not comparable to the previous bus. It was lacking the coveted stripper pole that we specifically requested. It was an awful experience. I reached out the the company about the horrible experience and they haven't bothered to contact me back. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I rented a Hummer Limo for my daugther's Senior-prom. My experience with Shark Limo was beyond my expectations. The driver was very professional. Prreviously, I had booked with another limo company who did not have city permits and had horrible reviews. By the way, I did not get my money back fromt San Antonio Limo company and I am currently disputing that charge. Thankfully, I canceled with that company (San Antonio Limo) and came here. I called the company to request a quote and they were extremely professional and not pushy. I didn't book the first call but the second call I did. The process was easy and they were friendly and professional once again. A week before the date they called and emailed to follow up. I did have a change to the times and they were flexible. You really need to learn how to speak to potential clients, train your staff better and get your facts straight, your very rude. Their is such a thing called customer service. Terrible service. Hired limo for wedding weekend and was 100 degrees. First limo no air conditioning. Brought out second one that again had no air conditioning! Everyone in tuxes and dresses sweating in the back. The champaign holdsrs had gross sticky things in bottom. Second ice bin had pieces of the car. Told ac works when moving but colder but only improved when windows open in the desert heat. Driver admitted that they constantly have these issues in their fleet which are clearly not well maintained. Wouldnt recommend for any event thats during the heat that you need to dress up unless you want to shower at your destination. Find another service! read more

I rented a party bus for my husband's 30th birthday and every interaction with this company was stellar! The reservation process was seamless and they even upgraded us to a larger bus on the night of the event because it was available! We had a driver and host on the bus with us and we're very well taken care of. They helped us with the music and made sure we were having a good time! The bus was awesome. I hired Shark for my wedding. We requested the limo at midnight. Midnight came around and the limo hadn't arrived. Ten after midnight my photographer was leaving since we only paid him till midnight. The limo finally arrived at fifteen after midnight. Therefore, we weren't able to get the exit pictures getting in the limo and leaving. We don't get a wedding do-over. Thanks a lot Shark. We got a white hummer limo for prom to take us to go eat and take pictures out of town. The driver arrived ten minutes late, but that was no big deal, no one was in a rush, BUT when we got on the limo it was unbearably hot, to which we found out the ac was broken. Everyone sat through an uncomfortable hour and a half ride. At our first stop they had a mechanic come and fix the ac for us, which lasted about 30 minutes before it was hot again. The driver was very accommodating as he was willing to change the drop off locations, but overall the ride was horrible. After questions were answered, I informed them that I was ready to book our trip and asked what the next step would be. As of today, I have NEVER heard back from them.
