I was just excited to see a Chatime here as I hadn't since I was in Singapore. Honestly, the boba here is pretty standard and nothing to write home about. I had a few bobas that weren't overly firm in the middle but most of them had the same issue. The tea itself is tasty but I have tea at home. Earl gray I had yesterday was good. Unfortunately again shitty bobas texture wise, which ruins the experience. They ran out of Earl gray when I came back again today, so I suppose if you're going to try anything try the Earl gray. Consider some jellies as their bobas are consistently low quality and firm in the center. I've had six (bad boba batches) the past week and five in the past few days at different times and locations, so I don't think I can give Chatime anymore chances (with bobas at least, I have an addiction to feed so I'll probably try some of the jellies).

I am often in Sydney for work, and sometimes for fun, and usually get the train to Whynyard. North Sydney seems to hold a fair amount of cafes and bars, all of which serves delicious food but only just discovered for myself The Northside Bunker. A burger craving on a raining Monday lunch and this place certainly delivered on such a day. A chalked pillar menu was a easy decision on said burger choices. With plenty of cosy looking tables, we were lead to a table as its service there but without wait, a choice of spicy burgers were had with a side of sweet potato fries but... coffee first. Roasted beans from The Grounds are perfect. cappuccinos and lattes all around were unforgettable with a decision there to have coffees on the way out once were done. With the burgers arriving at a pace of 10min wait wasn't well fair to what I saw. What looked like standard burgers and fries was completely turned around upon first bite. It has been a while since I've taste a meat patty soft and hand made before an order. You don't get any better other than at home cooking if not the same. The spicy beef burger was fantastic, confirming the "good choice" comment when ordered. The Portuguese chicken was quite good and plentiful too. The sweet potatoes were done to perfection and brought out after the burgers which was well thought. Compliments to the chef were had and the owner ideas. He did mention that the patties were a new addition style to the menu. MUST BE KEPT! Business lunch or something out of the city feed, Mark My Words. A good place.
