Firstly, the parking situation in this entire plaza is awful. Every time I visit I have to drive around for at least 5 minutes looking for a spot close to the shop and am unsuccessful. Thankfully the tea more than makes up for it. I don't recommend getting sugar level over 30% for the milk teas because even the 30% tastes quite sweet. I tried Sharetea's Roswell Rd location for the first time and am going to have to come back! The boba itself was perfect - soft and chewy, sweet but not too sweet. My drink (Tropical) had pieces of pulp, so they don't just use those fake syrups. I got mine less sweet and it was made exactly how I would expect. They have some cute signature mojito drinks (non-alcoholic) that look cute and lots of other options I'd try. The service was efficient and friendly. Whenever I'm in Sandy Springs, I always make a trip to Sharetea. It's hands down one of the best boba locations nearby. Located in a plaza right next to Jinyas, there's shared parking spaces nearby. During dinner time however it can get really crowded. The originals they serve here are Hokkaido Milk Tea (caramel toffee), and Okinawa Milk Tea (Brown sugar), they're both really unique teas only crafted here. The taro milk teas and fruit slushies are also good too. Boba or 1 topping is included in the price, 50 cents for each additional topping. Overall, if you're in the northern ATL area, definitely stop by this location if you're craving boba! It's a great place to stop by after dinner. This location goes hand in hand for me when I go to Jinya next door, I guess you can call it my dessert. I always get the same couple things, either the oolong milk tea or the black milk tea with 30% sweetness since I really don't like it sweet, boba and aloe. MMMM just typing this makes me want one right now, too bad. Make sure you sign in before you pay for the rewards, this last time I earned a free topping woot woot. I saw a new location opening in Alpharetta so now one will be right down the road from me, this is like the best Christmas present ever!!!! Was in the area and decided to pop into this new-to-me spot and get my bubble tea fix. I ordered the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea with less ice, 50% sweet, and without the big pearls. I'm glad it comes in one size (equivalent to large in other places) because I always feel guilty for ordering large and I didn't have to this time. The drink was allllmost perfect. The milk tea was nice and smooth, and the sugar level at 50% was the perfect sweetness. The topping combo, however, was a little off with the mushy red beans mixed in. Don't get me wrong, I like red beans in general, but just not with the other soft/chewy toppings. Aside from the red beans, there were mini pearls (perfectly soft yet chewy), herb jelly (my go-to), pudding (yum!) and lychee jelly (double yum!). Atmosphere: The layout of Sharetea is really long and narrow. It has few seating options, but it's more common to see people sitting or standing around waiting for their drinks before heading off. To me, it's not exactly a place you go to sit and hang out, but somewhere you can grab boba and go. Another perk about Jinya is its close location to Jinya! Usually an outing to Jinya is followed by a quick stop inside Sharetea. Food: My favorite tea there is the Hokkaido Milk Tea! I love that they can customize the ice level and sugar amount since I don't like overly sweet drinks. However, my only beef with them is that some drinks, like the Hokkaido, can only be brought down to 80% which is still in the sweeter side for me. For this reason, I'm taking one star away. Would I return and would I recommend to a friend? It's not my favorite boba stop, but it's high on the list. Sharetea is without question the best place to get milk tea and bubble/boba tea! The teas I've had have all been delicious. Their boba/tapioca pearls are always fresh and the perfect texture and consistency. They also have a variety of flavor options to choose from so it's nice not being limited to the few traditional tea flavors. My favorites are the Ginger Milk Tea (I like to add Pearl) and Thai Pearl Milk Tea. The customer service is good as the cashiers are always nice. Finally decided to go back to Sharetea a couple times since my last less than average visit, and I'm dead serious when I say the mango green tea creama is the main reason why I felt like I needed to give Sharetea the credit where it's due and update my review. I'm a fan of the creama drinks here in general, but the mango green tea is so delicious, and have chunks of mango puree in it. It's sweet enough to satisfy my sweet tooth, but not overly sweet where my jaws clench lol. The creama is really good here. The slight saltiness of the creama pairs well with the sweetness of the teas. I'm also a fan of the wintermelon tea creama, and I love how you can actually taste the wintermelon flavor. It's a bit different though, so you'll have to be open to trying something new if you've never had it before. I also gave the Hokkaido pearl milk tea another try, but with 100% sugar, and honestly I still felt like it was okay. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't make my way out here for it. The tapioca is prepared nicely though. I feel like their customer service could still use some work. There's probably only one or two employees there that are friendly, and the rest can't be bothered lol. I'm definitely glad I decided to not let my subpar first experience deter me from giving Sharetea another chance because so far, I don't think there's anyone in the A that's serving a better creama tea. Popped in on a Thursday evening and man, they were busy! The line was out the door when I arrived, but luckily it moved fast. Most people took their orders to go, myself included. I wanted to try the Thai tea but wasn't feeling particularly adventurous, plus the flyers posted around the shop said that their black pearl milk tea was one of their most popular items, so I opted for that instead. It was good! The tapioca pearls were nice and chewy, and the portion was sizeable for the price. My favorite boba spots are still closer to where I live so I don't think I'll be venturing out here again unless I happen to be in the area, but they have such an extensive menu of milk and fruit teas as well as non-caffeinated options that this is definitely a great spot to try. read more

They have a wide variety of teas that are highly customizable, from ice amount down to the amount of sweetness you'd prefer. I absolutely love Thai tea and theirs is incredible, plus the service is incredibly quick and everything is very well priced. OH MY GOD! Best boba yea place in Sandy Spring! Honestly, I think it is better than Teatop in Doraville. I had the Coffee Crema drink which is amazing. You don't drink it with a straw, but instead, they give you a mini plastic knife. I bet you're wondering," what do you do with the knife?!" As the server taught me, you cut a mouth sized opening on one edge of the lid and cut a relief slit on the opposite side. Then you can drink the coffee with the crema!!! Whaaaaaa?!? (Just to warn you though, you'll need to tilt more than normal or else you're just gonna get crema. Don't worry, you wont spill any on your face when you do so. That's why the big cut on the lid should me mouth-sized.) We also got the Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea with the white boba, since they ran out of normal boba... it was 30 minutes to close so it's understandable. The tea was nice and strong so I would recommend it for people who like string milk teas. It almost tastes like Earl Grey tea, so order it if you like EG. [Party Size]: 1-2 [Location/Ambiance]: In the same plaza as Jinya ramen. Parking can get filled up quickly nearing close to 5pm due to the steak restaurant valets. You can always park in the Lowes lot and take a short walk. That way it'll be worth the calories. Inside it's a bit narrow and cramp, with the two top tables running along opposite of the cashiers / tea making station. The front counter area actually has the best lighting if you know how to use it. I'm hoping that there will be more outdoor seating when the weather warms up. Fingers crossed. [Service]: Fast-casual - There have been times where I didn't hear my order be called out and there are just people standing and waiting in front of the tea making station that blocks the way. Luckily the "boba-rista" / manager is nice enough to remember my order and walk it to me. I mainly went on soft opening days and all times everyone has been nice and informative to explain the different drinks and toppings. I'm hoping that they continue with this kind of customer service. [Drink Highlights]: Hokkaido Milk tea - The first time I had this was in the SGV location in Los Angeles, and I remember the light caramel toffee taste to the tea. It's my go-to drink because it isn't too sweet and I feel it's pretty balance of tea and milk. Definitely recommended. Mango green tea creama - This is pretty interesting because you don't sip it through a straw unless you get toppings. The creama is more like a whipped cream cheese topping. It's a bit lost in translation for those unfamiliar with this type of tea. Pretty much you cut two horizontal incisions in the tea lid, one to drink from, the other for air pressure. When you drink out of the slit, the tea chases the cream cheese so that you get a contrast of flavors all in one. I'm glad to say this isn't a powder tea, as there were pulps of mango at the bottom of my drink. It's refreshing and just a taste of sweetness in one. Strawberry blended ice w/ aloe jelly and ice cream - this is more like a smoothie dessert than anything. Which isn't bad if you are craving actual dessert after some ramen next door. Just fair warning, go a little less on the sugar. {Summary}: What's different than some boba tea shops in the Buford Hwy / Duluth area, is that Sharetea usually only sells one size. Albeit leaning towards a large for an average of $4.50 (as of Feb 2018) for each drink. Is it worth it? Yes, even though I'm not even that big a fan of boba tea. So to me that speaks highly of what Sharetea is offering. I do appreciate the variety of drinks they have and that they are consistent on the flavors so far. I also hope that the new flavors that the Los Angeles locations get don't take long for our Atlanta location to put on the menu. P.S. Bubble tea is one of Taiwan's claims to fame. So I'm proud to see that a more authentic Taiwanese bubble tea shop has finally come to Atlanta (the only other bubble tea franchise store in Atlanta from Taiwan is Quickly, and I'm not so proud or impressed by them anymore...). So when is Coco or 50嵐 coming??? This location is GREAT, for Sharetea, that is. Located right next to Jinya, I would TOTALLY grab a bubble tea after enjoying ramen next door or Canton Cooks across the street. This plaza happens to be SO popular that there is no parking on a Tuesday night (ok, I guess it's Valentines' Day eve...) and I had to park pretty far away in the Lowe's parking lot. The complimentary valet for Kaiser Steakhouse was NOT helpful to crowding the shared Sharetea lot. Looks like there is only one size iced drink option (22oz, per the lady at the register), which is a reasonable explanation for the higher prices. Toppings are an additional $0.50 unless they are specifically mentioned in the drink's name to be included. That's why I decided to get the QQ Milk Tea which came with at least 3 toppings for only $0.75! Thankfully, we finished our dinner pretty early so we beat the post-dinner rush at Sharetea. I ordered the QQ Milk Tea with 30% sugar and less ice, which was $4.75 and $5.17 after tax. The drink came out fairly quickly, which is how it should be. For the 20 other people who came in during the time we were sitting and enjoying our drinks, I can't say the same. Many of them were waiting for a good 10-20 minutes for their drinks (yikes!) and I was just glad I wasn't them. I'm guessing they're still ironing out the kinks behind the counter. Side-note: don't be phased when you see them dumping powder into your drink behind the counter. How the heck else do you think your taro milk tea got so purple!? You think it's real chopped taro? If that's what you want, you will find some grayish sludge on the bottom of your drink... tl;dr? I mostly loved my QQ Milk Tea, aside from the lychee jelly. It reminded me of the more traditional milk tea shops in Taiwan. The long story? My QQ Milk Tea was... interesting. I'm used to QQ Milk Tea containing just the Big 3: Pudding, Herbal Jelly and Boba. In addition to these 3, the Sharetea version came with mini boba (so cute!), red bean and lychee jelly (BLEH). Boba was perfectly chewy and slightly sweet. The Pudding was easy to miss since the lychee was so overwhelmingly sweet. The herbal jelly was borderline slimy but got better as it soaked in the milk tea. The mini boba were all stuck together which made it hard to suck up the large straw. Some of the red beans were a just little al dente for me. The lychee jelly was a 100% miss for me. Anything fruity or tart in my milk teas remind me of expired milk. And the longer the lychee jelly soaked at the bottom of the tea, the sweeter and more sour it got. I could barely taste how delicious the milk tea was because of the sweetness of the lychee jelly. I will definitely ask to get the QQ Milk Tea with no lychee jelly next time, and highly recommend you do the same. I DID look it up online, though and that's how they make it at the SF location, too, so maybe I'm the only one who doesn't like it with lychee jelly *shrug*. And FINALLY, there were just so many toppings and not enough tea - the ratio was definitely a little off. Ok, obviously I take my bubble milk tea very seriously. Sorry for the rant! Overall, I would definitely come back if in Dunwoody or dining in the area, but maybe not for the lychee jelly in milk tea. The tea and ingredient quality is very similar to what I find in Taiwan. Among my Taiwanese friends who have tried Sharetea, we might just dare to say that it is WAY better than Sweet Hut and slightly better than Kung Fu Tea. read more

This is located inside the a big plaza and is also 2 or 3 doors down from Jinya. It is a big parking lot so you shouldn't have problems finding a spot...you might just have to walk a little. The shop itself is kind of small. I think it sits about 20-25 people so be prepared to either stand around or take your drink home. Sharetea is another Bubble Tea place that just opened up. As of Feb of 2018, they have a grand opening, 15% promo deal. So if you're reading this, and the date is not too far from that date, you can probably get the discount. Sharetea provides a lot of tea drinks. They don't seem to have food yet, but maybe they'll add them in the future. The drinks include Fruit Teas, Brewed Teas, Creama Teas, Fresh Milk, Milk Teas and Frozen Blended drinks. For each drink, you can adjust the sweetness and ice levels (if your drink comes with ice). You can also put your standard toppings like boba (they call it pearls), grass jelly, etc. They also have 1 size. First of all, they're very slow. It was slow to take orders, and slow to get the drink. My drink took me 30 minutes to get! (I checked using my check-in app) They're obviously working out the kinks. They had like 3-4 people making the tea, and it wasn't that busy. So I wasn't sure why it took them 30 minutes to make my tea. Other tea places could crank that out in 5 minutes. Maybe everyone before me got 10 orders or something. Who knows? The cashier didn't understand English well. That's surprising considering they opened up in Roswell, instead of Buford Hwy. or other locations with a lot of Asians. I asked her some questions about the tea, and I don't think she understood what I was talking about. I tried one of their Fruit Teas: the Hawaiian Fruit Tea. It was supposed to have 50% sugar, but it tasted super sweet. It was like drinking sugar water. I don't know if they actually paid attention to the sweetness level we requested. I recommend getting 30% or 0% sugar on that drink. I also got the Oolong Milk Tea. I got it with 30% sugar, and it was just enough sweetness for me. The tea was pretty good. I asked for pearls in my Oolong Milk Tea, and guess what? I got none! WTF? Their service needs help. I liked the teas okay, but they have to work out the kinks so they don't spend 30 minutes making our tea or forgetting some ingredients. I would avoid until a few month later. Classic milk tea, black: Pretty good. Actually has a tea-like taste. It's nice they have many options for the level of sweetness and amount of ice. Boba is soft and chewy and mildly sweet. They only have one size of drink. Price for that size is decent though compared to other places around Atlanta. Not a great place to work for an extended period of time. The space is pretty small, so the music they play, metal chairs scooting around, and staff making the drinks end up sounding much more raucous than it would in a larger space. Sharetea grew its establishments over various continents over the years, and now you can find stores in the US, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Philippines, and even Dubai! This is probably one of the newest chains, nested at the edge of the Atlanta perimeter, right off of Roswell Road in Sandy Springs! TEAS: 4.5 Born and raised in Taiwan, I have had my share of bubble tea chains. Hence, my standards for bubble teas are probably higher than most. I actually really enjoyed their classic teas, I just didn't quite like some of the options. For example, QQ milk tea comes with a total of six toppings - even if you ask to remove some, it comes out more expensive (the sum of a classic milk tea plus 5 toppings.) That simply does not make sense to me. The taro milk tea was also slightly off. I understand using powder to make these teas, but, maybe it was because we went during their opening so they were super busy, the cup we got actually did not look purple (isn't that the whole point of powder?) and tasted funky... not what taro powder should taste like! We did, however, enjoy the matcha with fresh milk! LOCATION/SETTING: 4 Location is perfect, right next to Jinya Ramen and in a fun shopping center filled with options. The interior, however, is designed the long way. Which makes waiting around for your drink a little tough because you can't see the counter. I'm personally not crazy about bubble tea, but finally introducing a bubble tea place in a growing Sandy Springs neighborhood feels right. The location is ideal because its next to so many restaurants including Jinya Ramen Bar, Cheeseburger Bobby's, and Flying Biscuit. My go-to bubble tea is the Taro Milk Tea because I'm basic like that. Of all the bubble teas I've had in Atlanta, I can tell that Sharetea really prides itself on quality. They hand-make all their drinks and even shake their drinks by hand like a team of bartenders. The drink itself stood out to me because it was very smooth and milky; in comparison, all other bubble teas I've ever had were pretty thin/watery. I'm not sure if hand-making the drink or the ingredients themselves made the difference, but I was pretty impressed. They serve only one size, which is basically a large. Like other places, you can request for less ice or less sugar. In comparison to other places, they have a wider variety of toppings that includes ice cream. I live down the road from Sharetea and finally got to try this boba shop. It's located right next to Jinya. The parking lot can be crowded on the weekends, but it does not take long to find a spot as people are constantly coming snd going. The cafe is small with a handful of tables. Not the type of environment that would be conducive for studying, because it feels a little claustrophobic. Now onto the boba... My favorite drink is the honey lemon aloe vera with boba (half sweet, less ice). Sometimes it's a little too sour, but I don't really mind. As much as I want to like Sharetea, I'm still a little bit torn on how I feel. I discovered this place after going to Jinya Ramen during opening week and got to meet the owners of the store. She was incredibly friendly, took the time to talk to me and invite me back for their grand opening, and even remembered my name on following visits. Due to this, I wanted to come back and give it a shot once they were a little more established because the staff all seemed very timid still and didn't seem to know the menu yet. However, since then I've come back multiple times because I do like the uniqueness of their menu and the portion size for the price, but I dont feel like the customer service has picked up. The employees seem to lack adequate training as they can't answer very many questions about the drinks, and my orders have been wrong multiple times. I find myself having to watch them make the drinks to make sure they're putting the correct things in it. They're still pretty slow and very timid, which isn't a big deal, but I guess I'd like for whoever is making my drink to be a little more confident that they know what they're doing. Also, over the past two weeks I've come back for a coffee drink, but they've been out of the ingredients. I just find it a little strange to be out of an ingredient for two weeks when a decent amount of drinks they make are coffee drinks. I don't know if I'm just coming on the wrong days or if this has been a consecutive two weeks. In addition, despite the parking lot being huge, I always have a problem parking when I come here. Not the store's fault at all, but one of the restaurants next door had valet parking and during certain hours blocks off a lot of the parking spaces and makes it incredibly hard to park near the store. I generally have to park by Lowes or Flying Biscuit and walk over. Just something to be mindful of if you're trying to get in and out quickly. Not all deal breakers or enough to keep me from coming back though as I do realize that this store is still very new. I like their drinks a lot and the fact that you can adjust ice and sugar level as their drinks do tend to come out very sweet. The portion size is bigger than I've ever seen at another bubble tea store while their prices are still comparable. They have very unique drinks with many options and many toppings that you can essentially switch up your drink every time. I've gotten all their Matcha drink options, and I love each one of them. I think the cremas are very unique and tasteful and less on the sweet side, which I enjoy. The ice blended drinks are great, and I love that you can add ice cream to them. In general, other than being too sweet at times, I do love the drinks here, and I hope to keep coming back once things are a bit more established. read more

She had legendary patience like an American sniper in war as she calmly waited for my whole family to order as they all took a long time to decide what drink they wanted. Worst new members at the shop. Third time straight they didn't prepare the order well. Less ice , I asked more ice. More boba, I asked less boba. Once they forgot to add mango flavor in green tea. You are drinking the worst now if you had never tasted before. read more

This establishment is under new management, I've given it probably 10+ the visits since they switched over, I'm definitely underwhelmed by the quality of the drinks && the service. It was such a great experience before, prime example of you're only as strong as your WEAKEST link. read more
