Very impressed with Envita!…read more After not feeling well for a few months I finally decided to get checked out and find out what the issue was. After going to other general practitioners, when all they seemed to do was immediately prescribe statin drugs, I was not getting better or getting answers. I did not want to take more medications. I finally gave Envita a try. I met with Dr Coffin. He looked over my blood results, and talked to me, and asked different questions to see what the root cause was. He was not in a hurry to get in and out. He recommended the treatment that I needed and I have been feeling great. He explained the difference options and what could be the cause. I got answers and got feeling great again. The staff at Evita was excellent from the front desk check in to the doctor I spoke with.

I was extremely happy with the process to set up an appointment (Sydney is fantastic!), gather lab results and meet with Dr. Poteet to review the information. All of it was seamless and easy. The physicians are kind and caring with wonderful bedside manner. Their recommendations for medical care were very easy to follow with proven results. I highly recommend Envita to anyone who is looking to improve the quality of their health regarding heart disease. Thank you, Envita. I appreciate all of you.

Wanted to start the process for hip repair or replacement. Nurse Halley was very nice and considerate taking my info. She attempted to make an appointment and said there seems to be a problem and transferred me to Garrett an account specialist. He informed me I have been deleted as a patient because it has been over 3 years since I have seen Dr.Michael Bryan June 2020 actually 3 years and 6 months for COVID testing. I said to him I'm in my portal and I see over 250 lab results and over 300 physician summaries since Aug of 2005. I've been a patient over 17 years. He said he was sorry and there is nothing he can do. He then sent me to his supervisor Kassie. She said she was sorry that I was deleted from Mayo and they are not taking any new patients. I said I'm not a new patient. I said to her when I was working we were told years ago to establish a family Mayo physician with Dr. Michael Bryan so when you retire your grandfathered in for life. No body ever said to me to make sure you go in once a year to keep current. I have a portal and I read my messages. Why did I not get some reminder to come in as my 3 year inactivity would cause account deletion infact the most recent mail I have is from Carol Carrillo dated 09/28/2022 to make sure I have regular Medicare and a supplement and that Mayo does not take Advantage Medicare . I asked Kassie to speak to another supervisor and she was sorry and implied she was it. Times are changing, we are being canceled and slowly erased from existence. Retirement is not what I thought it would be.

I had lost all trust. I had a stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis - the conventional medical system…read morehad let me fall through the cracks and left me so traumatized and jaded there was no way I could trust them with more "conventional treatment". For two years I struggled on my own doing everything I could to give my body a fighting chance, with no support system, no doctor that would give me the time of day. I didn't follow their advice... so I guess it was either their way... or the highway. I was alone and out of my depth and getting more and more anxious that I was going to die. My mom asked me if I had heard of Sunridge Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. I had not and had not really considered traveling so far away to seek medical care, but after watching the patient testimonials and initially discussing my situation over the phone - I just felt like Sunridge was the place I needed to be. That was on a Saturday, I was on a plane Tuesday. It was nerve racking for me to meet Dr. Franco, was he just going to be another callous doctor that would treat me like I was stupid and not really listen to what was important to me? I had my guard up, I had been through so much at that point and I was no longer going to blindly trust another doctor. I remember telling him, "I need you to understand that I am here to participate in my own healing and I am not looking to be told what to do, this is my life and my health, and the only way I can go forward is for both of us to understand I want to collaborate to get to the bottom of this and find a way out". That took a lot of guts to be that up front and candid - but I had been victimized, bullied, terrified... and let down by other doctors - and I wasn't going to let that happen again. Dr. Franco didn't miss a beat - I guess he's probably seen and heard it all. He asked me to tell him my story - I asked, "since my diagnosis, or before?" and he said, "tell me your story from the point in time you think it is relevant". So I did. I learned more about my health in the few hours we spent together than I had the rest of my life. For the first time I felt supported, understood, heard and cared for. I felt like I was important, not just one of many patients. That was just the beginning of my care and experience with Dr. Franco and Sunridge Medical - and it just got better from there. I had traveled from Indiana to be under Dr. Franco's care - leaving my family behind. Although this was challenging in some regards, I found it healing in others regards. Sunridge Medical Center is an intimate operation - this enables them to have a great bedside manner - no one falls through the cracks and the staff earnestly gets to know you and care about you. I know it sounds totally cliche... and you'll hear folks say they treat you like family... but that is what I experienced, and what I needed. Through Dr. Franco - I learned to trust again. He was right there when I needed him - he never pushed me to do anything I didn't want to do - but he would gently urge me to considered some conventional treatments in addition to the incredible treatments he had formulated... He was opened to what ever would give me the best possible outcome - conventional / alternative - he wasn't attached the methods so much, as he was the outcome for the patient. I hate to think where I would be today without Sunridge, and owe a lot to my mom for finding the clinic, and much, much more to Dr. Franco and his incredible staff for taking baby steps with me so I could regain not only my health and trust, but my peace of mind.

Dr. Nunez and his support staff bust their asses for their patients, and it shows. While only anecdotal, Dr. Nunez or a NP/PA or nurse, when appropriate (but 90% of the time, it's Dr. Nunez) has responded to every message I've ever sent through their patient portal in both a timely and responsive manner, which is pretty uncommon. I was also very impressed with Grayhawk's tireless preparation and dedication to ensure they were ready to conduct virtual visits on day 1 of the COVID-19 restrictions. In conclusion, I couldn't ask for more from a primary care physician. If that is the kind of doctor-patient relationship you are looking for, you won't be disappointed with Grayhawk and Dr. Nunez. Also, after reading the few 1 star reviews Grayhawk has on Yelp!, I am amazed at how unreasonable and oblivious some people can be. To then take that deep-seated lack of self-awareness and advertise it next to your name and picture, well, that's just a whole new level of stupid. Feel free to ignore those 1 star reviews, as they are not representative of the opinions any other patients I've met.

The two recent issues were important to find answers but was pretty much dismissed. First was bloodwork relating to high kidney reading, he told me it was not bad and nothing to worry about. Without any testing he said they were migraines and prescribed medication. I recently was diagnosed with Eye Orbital lymphatic/venous congestion and pinched nerve/artery. The migraine medication does NOT treat the cause.
