The culture was great, with lots of quality instruction and I really appreciated all the higher belts taking time to explain small details and it seems like they genuinely care for your development (especially as a first time visiting practitioner). I loved the hour of rolling and open training to just get lots of rounds afterwards. We worked on sequencing arm bar from closed guard today as well as defending the position from the stack counter. Definitely a really great detail to pick up and to try to incorporate in my own game and development. Hope to visit more often!

Rick, you're a terrible person, stealing from my parents. The only good coach left aswell (also their best boxer). I highly recommend to make the drive to a different gym. I have met 4 of their boxing coaches each of them is knowledgeable and encouraging. The gym has a great vibe everyone is super friendly and helpful. I find the 60 minute classes give me an amazing work out plus introduction to techniques. I love the flat fee which allows you to attend as many classes as you like or just use the facilities to do your own work out. I have also tried the yoga class which has an excellent instructor. Wish I had joined much earlier! Oh and I am pleased with the personal results.

I do the same thing as all the other people there but they modify everything for me so I am able to work to my maximum without getting injured and no sparring. The trainers pay a lot of attention to everyone and really know what we are capable of doing. I have only been doing it a month and my balance is better and my form has improved (slightly) and I am a bit stronger. It is actually a lot of fun and I didn't expect that. I really look forward to going and it is such a different activity I also think this is good for my brain. I really can't say enough good things about this club.
