I should have wrote a review every…read moreyear since 2010 however, I did not know how important it is to do a review until I started looking for a reputable bathroom remodeler and starting reading reviews.....So here it is for Stanfield & Associates, Inc... In 2010, our taxes were very complex due to a business we closed, changes in jobs, children in school/college, etc. My husband met with Kurt in 2010 and of course asked him loads of tax questions. Anyone who can answer the questions in layman terms and continue to smile and have patience is worth trying. Kurt has been our tax accountant ever since 2010. Fast forward to this year, "2018" I had to add a late IRS item to my already filed taxes. I called Kurt and told him about my dilemma and within a couple of days, the taxes were filed and ready for signatures. Kurt is an awesome, experienced and trustworthy accountant. He is a friendly professional who is on top of the tax laws and very easy to work with. If you are looking for a tax accountant who is trustworthy, dependable and on top of his game, I highly recommend Kurt Stanfield!

When Turbo Tax fails you, don't hesitate to contact E W Moore accounting! My husband had been…read moreworking on our taxes and had to stop and start a few times because Turbo Tax was saying that we owed a significant amount of money which had never happened before! Our spidey senses started going off and we decided to seek out professional help. I turned to Yelp and saw that E W Moore was A) close to where we live and B) had great reviews. I called and set up an appointment for that week. We met with Eric and delivered all of our tax information. He was really nice and laid back. The process was simple enough and after about two weeks he got back to us saying that we actually get a refund from state and federal! This was really exciting considering had we gone through with what turbo tax said, we would have been in the hole. I'm not sure what sort of magic he worked, but he's alright in my book! We'll be using E W Moore for our taxes from here on out.

She is humble, fun, patient, flexible, personable, relatable, understanding, and very knowledgeable. She does not limit herself to just tax stuff. She genuinely cares about her clients and their well-being. I could not ask for a better person to work with. I am so thankful for the way she is not afraid to make those wise mentor type of life recommendations. Dana, I so appreciate you! On top of everything, she is so patient when we have had to bring our baby and now toddler in, be it by us taking turns or having him with us in the office. She was more than just patient. She made us and him feel loved and right at home. You won't find a more genuine, sincere person. Her office staff is friendly and helpful as well.

Well, my taxes were filed without my consent electronically on 6/15 which I then found out with letters from the state and IRS I was now in default of previous payment plans.. when I called Exclusive to enquire what had happened I heard, oh the documents were in my bin to file so I just filed.. and now I'm left to figure it all out because the hours the tax preparer (I won't add her name) is having to take to call IRS and she never phoned the state (or I was told she tried) is extreme obviously and it's my fault I guess because I did owe taxes from past years I have been paying. I received a deflecting email a week ago and all I've asked for is a refund and my 2023 taxes.. a week went by so I emailed asking for both then was only advised to retrieve the tax documents from their portal and I'm not sure how to do that when they are not there only 2022 is there. I emailed back and no reply. Please know if you're thinking about using Exclusive on Huguenot Rd ... you may wish to use someone who can actually say they messed up and they are sorry and how can I make this right instead of excuses and sending me on a wild goose chase for tax documents not even uploaded yet although they can file without my consent.

Clifton avoided my phone calls and emails making it difficult for me to retrieve my funds. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Update: 05/17/2020, Cliff decides to send me an email 1 year later due to him noticing this Yelp review. Cliff stated that I never paid him, when in fact, he would typically pull his fee from the actual tax return. Due to me owing this year, Cliff could have provided the amount I owed along with the amount due for his services rendered, but he decided to stay silent about the issue. Cliff stated in this email received on 2020 that he couldn't file my 2018 taxes, which left me confused, because its 2020?? I've already had those taken care of. Cliff doesn't answer his direct number, and he also has an "assistant" that answers a phone and "takes a message", but the funny thing about it is it never seems to make it to Clifton??
