There was a decent amount of diversity in groups represented, merch types, and other items (e.g. makeup, skincare, food/snacks). And the music on the aux was also quite diverse! We specifically went to this location for the Life4Cuts photobooth, which has a 5 minute limit per group. We were a bit shocked that the prices advertised don't reflect actual prices of many of the strips (e.g. BooSeokSoon photos were $12!) Note: if you have drinks with you, expect to leave them at the front of the store so that merchandise isn't mistakenly ruined or damaged.

The staff at Let's Boogie has been working dilligently to get the store more organized, and the items priced. There is stuff everywhere, from vintage vinyl, CD'S, tapes, DVDS and even VHS. They are still actively buying and getting new sealed albums also. I found a bunch of stuff I didn't know I was looking, and a few I left behind because I was over my budget. My fiancé and I strolled in one afternoon and so happy we did. Let's Boogie has a great selection of rock, jazz, blues, new wave, house and dance records. We picked a bunch at reasonable prices too. When we were ready to check out, we met Jason who runs the store. He showed us old family photos of the store through the years. This is definitely a Bridgeport staple so it's great to see a new generation of customers coming though. I'll definitely make it a Saturday tradition to visit Let's Boogie!

However, on my most recent visit I was *shocked* to see the same used cookbooks I bought a few months ago at $10/piece are now priced at $17.50! That's a 75% increase! I understand costs rise, but this seems extremely excessive. Used books that are 10-20 years old should not cost this much. I hope the store reconsiders its pricing so it remains accessible to the community that wants to support it. Besides just being a huge label and an internal distribution center for smaller indie labels, Victory also prints merchandise for bands or anyone not part of the company. the prices are super cheap and fair and it's quick turnaround! Sometimes i had to go back the following day to get the full order or so as it was a missing an item or two but they are great about fixing the mistake / miscommunication. A+ for quality and service.

I found some classics, fiction, a wonderful selection in their non-fiction area, and translated books. It's a medium-sized store, but their displays are quite prominent. Everything is easy to grab (no ladders or staff needed to get to the high books). All the areas are labeled and it's visually pleasing. The staff was nice, too. Checkout was easy and they were friendly. Prices are standard of paperbacks and hardcovers. You are paying for an indie bookseller (I paid about $40 for two books, which includes tax). I wasn't at all disappointed with the price. They also have a loyalty program for those that are regulars. I really am happy I checked out this spot. It was beautiful and friendly. There was a lot of books and totes to chose from, it was hard not to leave with more in my bag!
