ABSOLUTELY REPULSIVE ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIOURS FROM THE OWNERS WHO TOLD ME TO SHOVE MY FEEDBACK FORM UP MY A*$E AND F**K OFF AND NOT COME BACK.
Went to dinner with my parents, husband and kids and ordered $200 worth of meals. On the most part it was enjoyable except my Dad's meal was forgotten. When we asked about it, they apologised, said there was a mix up, and the kitchen said it would be out in 2 minutes. We were wary about the quality of what would come out in 2 minutes, and rightly so. The spuds were steaming hot in the middle and like leather on the outside, while the meat was half cold. There was only 2 wait staff on (on a Friday night) with one of them new and learning so we couldn't get a waitress. Dad wasn't going to eat it, but he ended up begrudginly eating the meat. When we asked for the bill, we said that his meal was really unacceptable and we don't believe we should pay for it. The waitress went to speak to the owner who, without even seeing what he had eaten, instructed that as he'd eaten more than 50% they would only give us it for half price, that they'd only give it for free if he'd eaten less than half. We pointed out that he'd not eaten anywhere near half of it and when one of the owners came out he was rude and arrogant and when I tried tell him to not talk over me, and ask him to listen, he said "no I will not listen to you..." and went on a rant and threatened to call the police. He ended up walking off going on about calling someone (couldn't quite figure it out) we stayed at our table and eventually he came back said "we will give it to you for free, but don't come back". I filled out a feedback form, and when I went to the bar to ask where I could put the feedback, the other owner who was sitting at the sports bar told me I can shove my feedback up my @rse and f**k off. I think it goes without saying that we certainly won't be returning, and I would strongly discourage anyone else from patroning the hotel. read more
