Been frequenting this shop since a kid and was thrilled to hear they now do tattoos. So, I had a couple small pieces done by Ant, liked them and had him work on my half sleeve. Some of which was a cover up which worked out great. However, on one 3 hour session we were tackling a large area of my arm, I thought we had discussed that I wanted it feminine and bright. I've ended up with a massive area of my arm that all seems to be the same colour. It was advised to get some laser treatment before I tackle the other cover up (made perfect sense), in the meantime I've reached out to have some touch up done, where the lining has come off, of the lines crooked, colours came out. In understand there's a healing process (the area I was referring 2 had been healed a long time. I get the impression he's not that interested if it's something he's not wanting to do that day. it's a little upsetting when you save a lot of money, get excited by something and met with a not so great attitude. I also asked jokingly (cos he seemed a pissed off) if I was his worst customer?....Not really. I've tipped well and been pretty easy going. I would have thought with such large areas with so many clients, you would keep records of what was discussed/design/the plan/colours to save wasting the tattooist and customers time.
I'm realising that I've been relying all my tattoo info to the FB page which is what they request. To find the memos are not getting passed on or missed. I assumed I was talking to the tattooist. It's just been a confusing process, any tattooist knows treatment of customers and reviews are the bread and butter of how you get referrals. When I was getting my laser work, the tattooist agreed that the area looked healed but also scarred. It's just went from
An exciting experience to not wanting to come
Back. I'm fairly depressed at the outcome in terms of colour...you can see it all looks the same.
I didn't ask for shading so I was a little taken aback to see so much background shading. I'mo spending big ££ having areas lasered off that I didn't ask for. I have all my communications back and forth.
Nice people! Just wouldn't recommend if you're after a professional experience. It's a little daunting as it is, so a pissy tattooist is not what you want. And you're left spending money on lasering because of crossed communications. read more
