I was eating dinner and a bridge in my mouth came loose. The office did not answer and the answering service took my call. I commend the young lady who took my call for her courtesy and professionalism, however all she could do is schedule me for an appointment a full week from today and tell me she would forward my message to the clinical team. My discomfort and anxiety increased over time so I initiated a live chat on the Stowe dental website with Tisha who was amazing. Tisha told me she was contacting the dentist directly to tell them my situation and although she could not promise anything she would try. I'm disappointed that Stowe Dental does not answer their phones during the posted hours. I received a call back from Tisha and they are able to see me tomorrow at 2pm. She told me they had a cancellation so I could be fit in. My question is this: why can't a dental emergency get fit in irregardless? Would I have been forced to wait a week to be seen? Well he has a CAT SCAN he has to pay for and the perception is every will get a CATSCAN for teeth problems, has to pay for that baby some how, or at least that is how I felt. The building is easy to find, centrally located for us, Front Desk staff is very friendly and professional and BUSY, but always welcoming. The Docs and hygienist always refer to you by name which makes it a great environment, I also had a tooth broken off, I called as a new patient and they took me right in and scheduled me the next day, having never seen me before. In My eyes that is amazing customer service and I was and continue to be impressed. First, they fit me in the same day I saw my regular dentist, even thought they were busy. The lovely front office worker, Esperanza, went to the trouble of actually calling my insurance to verify the price of my treatment before I had anything done, because I had expressed that I was nervous about the price. She broke everything down to me as well as showing me the total. She also made sure that my insurance policy was followed so I would have coverage (for some reason my insurance requires that the exam not be the same day as the procedure). Preoperative x-rays and exam were easy and painless thanks to Dr. Sunar and his very capable assistant, Lydia. Then they booked me the next day so I wouldn't have to wait for treatment. When I arrived, they got me right back into a room, and then Dr. Sunar came to apply topical anaesthetic followed by injected local anaesthesia. He was very pleasant and we chatted while we waited for the anaesthesia to work. The root canal itself was totally painless; both Dr. Sunar and Lydia were efficient, professional, and meticulous. Even now, over twelve hours after the procedure, I have only slight discomfort in the jaw muscle due to the injected anaesthesia (this is common for me after dental work). I recommend Dr. Sunar and his entire staff at the Charlotte Root Canal Center. What a relief!

Why is this? I won't be sending anybody to them because of this, which is such a stupid reason but here we are. We have had to postpone appointments because of them saying they'd send them over and they didn't. Do better, please.
