This little hidden Gem is a great place for your Poutine intake. The prices are moderate but…read morequantity and quality exceeds the moderate rating it gets. It really is a gem to be spotted or hunted down. Not only do they have poutine they have different types as well. I do not usually get a hotdog from any restaurant unless I am at Air Canada taking in a Leafs or Raptors game or at the Rogers Center. However I do enjoy it from Take 5 just taste great. They also do Crepes many types. Only down fall is that they don't do combos so you pay extra. There isn't any room to sit in so you have to do take out nor any washrooms. Parking is horrible nothing to do with Take 5 it's the owner of the building. They are only allotted 2 spots and 99% of the time are taken by other stores. The hair salon takes up most of the parking and if you park in the 1001 Nights Shawarma 2 spots they clearly have posted they will have your car towed away. Worse parking arrangements for any of those stores. The owner is a great friendly guy who takes pride in his food and his customers. His wife & children whom all work there are polite as well. The other staff he has hired are great as well. Only had 1 bad experience in the past which I know was rectified. Also they have had in the past had a promotion through Groupon were you paid $10 for $20 towards food. So always keep a lookout for that. Besides that I am not aware if they have any in store promotions or coupons from their website or in the Val-U-Pak that comes monthly or so. They are also BIG about being green and the environment. Well done Take 5 Eats hope your business grows and your around for a long time. https://www.facebook.com/Take5Eats http://take5eats.com

It's a busy placed, stopped in with my mom to redeem the bogo for $1.99. I used to be a regular…read morehere when there were winter bogo- I mean always committed to it, but as of late the deals have not been close and two two blizzards with Bogo cost about $12. The pricing is pretty stiff here where if you get a cone with no toppings it's not far from the blizzard pricing. Blizzards is the same but bigger with some air and toppings mixed. One of the biggest struggle I had in this location was no pricing on the overhead signage -but there was calorie counts. My senior mother had a lot of struggles just deciding because the signage is small in text with no price that she just gives up and expects me to order for her- I wish the location was just more accessible to seniors. The table option is good for the size, but the tables were not regularly cleaned. While I waited I saw a pile of different coloured non dairy decorating icing- but these products should be refrigerated not left out in the open- so some food handling issues here. Lots of patrons during the lunch hour. I can see the owner responding to peoples reviews I guess for damage control- but more needs to be done at this location, just seeing the non dairy decorating icing not refrigerated does prevent it from separating and spoiling and because you sell ready made food- it does put people's health at risk. If you really want to contact me owner to discuss this- you can DM me @foodrebelivana on Instagram- as you know people who post reviews to you on Yelp are not able to respond publicly. To the business owner: It's pretty bad when people are opening a Yelp account and making one review to post their experiences. :(

I had an amazing experience at this location! We ended up going when it was a busy night, not…read moreknowing that there was a sports game going on a few blocks away. We order food and blizzards, and the staff were so friendly and kind, they offered to hold our blizzards till we were finished our meal. I truly seemed like everyone there worked really well together and enjoyed each others presence and support. The food was tasty overall! My only negative was there was no ice in the drink fountain machine but I noticed others asking the staff and they would give them ice from behind the counter, so it could have been resolved, but overall nothing terrible!

Read the reviews, saw the postings... what can go wrong.... well let me tell you…read more Service was non-existent... there was only 1 other table in the whole restaurant and service was NON existent!!! Strike one... The food... the onion ring tower was... warm... doughy and seemed to be something frozen that was pre-packaged and someone forgot to read the instructions how to warm up and re-assemble... the kobe style wagyu burger had no taste... way over cooked and the bbq sauce was a little too much... as for the bun itself... kinda stale. The poutine... it appears the "too much" theme continues... the bbq brisket poutine comes with 2 different "gravies" the super vinegary brisket sauce and the brown gravy that had little to no taste... I should have just stuck to the regular fries and called it a day. The shake was proclaimed to be made from real ice cream... which I believe but "really cheap" ice cream to be exact... I should have taken my $50.00 gone to the keg and get a real meal with appetizers. Entree and dessert with change than an over glorified reheated frozen dinner... pass and save your money and aggravation.. piss poor service (non-existent) along with an over rated frozen TV dinner

I picked up quite a few items that day, and everything looked too good to pass up…read more I tried the pinwheels, mortadella croissant, Kouignamann, spinach and cheese scone, and the peach cinnamon sticky bun. The Kouignamann, which is their specialty, and the peach cinnamon sticky bun were my absolute favorites. The Kouignamann reminded me of a croissant but with a richer, buttery flavor and a caramelized sugar coating that made every bite heavenly. This shop truly has it all. Along with the baked goods, they also offer coffee, lattes, house-made ice cream, local craft drinks, and even an assortment of vintage-style gifts that look like they came straight out of the 1950s. It really lives up to its name as a bakery and provisions store. The interior gives off a cozy 1970s vibe with a modern twist. There is lots of natural sunlight, which makes the space warm and inviting. Aura, the owner, was amazing. She was friendly, kind, and even threw in a few extra treats for us during our visit. It added such a personal touch to an already wonderful experience. The shop is conveniently located right beside Frederick Mall, so it is easy to find, and there is parking available on the property
