this hospital is a money grab. They don't have the proper staff. The nurses are rude and never…read moreanswer the call button. My boyfriend had to sit in his own fieces for over an hour without anybody coming to help. he came in with liver problems and they don't even have a liver specialis. he was poked and prodded for over 22 days. They released him to rehabilitation and within two days he was rushed to strong. now he's fighting for his life! not only that he had one shower in the 22 days. I wish they would have used their common sense and knew they were over their head. If they are so understaffed why take new patients that they have no right treating. This is just the short summery of some stuff he went through. please make a smart choice and never go to this place!

July 2019 my wife and I had our baby delivered at Noyes(that's a another story entirely) So the day after he's born a stranger shows up saying they are from Stony Brook Pediatrics and they are there to look over the baby and check out vitals what have you. The person is there for a total of 5 mins and leaves. This happened once more the next day, the day before we left so. I of course think nothing of it in believing this is standard hospital procedure. Well forward after things get set up with billing at the hospital, a bill comes from this practice to the tune of $400.00. turns out this doctor visit of total 10 minutes is not part of your hospital visit and they squeeze some extra money out for themselves every time a baby is born and bill you separately as they are not truly employed by the hospital and is not included in the already massive charge of the baby's I'm hospital care. So beware if you are having a baby at Noyes and a doctor walks in to "check on baby" personally, I say tell the doc to turn right around and leave, and would've had I known this sketchy service charge. There are nurses and doctors at the hospital that are more than qualified to keep your baby in check. Later a nurse practitioner called and apologized for any concerns and explained that that Noyes contracts doctors from this practice but for some reason do not bill through hospital. Does that make this ok? No. Because now I am being a billed for 3 separate times a doctor and practice that saw my child without my knowledge or consent. So "making it right" is making excuses. Now don't get me wrong I will be paying this bill be cause I am financially fortunate enough to do so. But some are not. So I implore everyone to ask about every cost up front, because medical billing is a joke.
