Our 6 year old was referred here by our pediatric dentist because she had an extra baby tooth where an adult tooth was coming in. If you need your wisdom teeth out and are looking for a quality oral surgeon, whose office really cares and gets to know you, THIS is the place. I can't recommend them highly enough. My experience: I called and got an appointment relatively soon, and they were able to work me into the surgery schedule the week after. During my consultation they took their time going over all of my concerns and didn't make me feel rushed. I wanted to do it under local anesthetic, which they obliged (thankfully! Lots of other surgeons said they wouldn't, or would only tell me after the pricey consultation). Doctor Taghikhan let me know it might not be very comfortable, but that they would do it right. When the day came for the surgery, they made everything very simple - great, since I was pretty nervous. They numbed me up and gave me plenty of time to make sure it was working before they began. And then the doc went right to work! We were through the first one in no time, and then he let me rest before deciding when to begin the second one. This little break made all the difference - I felt like I was really in control of the situation. After they finished up the second tooth, they showed me how to pack the gauze and went over the recovery instructions one more time before I left. Later on that day, the doctor actually gave me a call to check up on how I was doing. I can't even describe how caring this place is! And so affordable! The consultation was put towards the price of the wisdom teeth removal, so it worked out to be just over $1000. Seriously. I've healed up great, and it's all thanks to Dr. Taghikhan and his office. First off I want to say thank you to the staff and Dr. Taghikhan for doing a great job at removing my wisdom teeth. At first, I was very hesitant for so long on getting my wisdom teeth removed because I didn't want to deal with the discomfort and pain from them being removed. But after I had my appointment on Monday 4/7 my recovery has been better then expected, I've had minimal pain and recovery has been great. Dr. Taghikhan and his team took great care of me and I would recommend 100%. If I had known about him sooner I would have got them removed long ago but that's okay because now I don't ever have to deal with the constant pain anymore from having them in. Two weeks ago, I visited my regular dentist with an abscessed tooth. We decided to try and save the tooth. He sent me home with antibiotics. The next day, my face had turned into a balloon. The dentist called Dr Taghikhan, who told him to send me to Good Samaritan with a referral form, and to wait. He came into the ER on his lunch break, and told me he was definitely going in as soon as he could. That night at 10 pm, I was wheeled into the OR (a nurse later told me that if they had an OR for me at 10 pm on a Friday night, it was pretty serious). About 90 mins or so later, I woke up pain-free, minus a tooth and with a deflating face. They kept me there for four days to make sure the antibiotics were kicking in and that the infection was abating. Dr Taghikan was there regularly to keep on top of my healing. As far as pain goes, I didn't even need Ibuprofen during my stay. We're now beginning the implant process. Two days ago, he prepared what was left of the tooth socket for the implant. He took great care to ensure that I'd have enough bone to take the implant. This was a bit more painful...but after a day, with antibiotics and Motrin, the pain has gone completely away. I'm very grateful that my dentist at Blossom Dental Excellence referred me to Dr. Taghikan. I'm equally grateful that he took the time out of a busy day to get me fixed-up, so I can write this review. read more

PLEASE NOTE: My issue is not with any treatment. I have not seen them. My issue is their refusal to give me any idea what my care is going to cost, even though they are in my dental network. I have a cracked wisdom tooth that needs to be removed. I asked for an 'estimate'. not a hard fixed price. I got back a quick reply (giving credit where credit is due) saying they won't do that. But I do have to go in for new X-Rays, I guess because he ones taken yesterday have dramatically changed. That will be out of my pocket. Then we have to discuss treatment 'options' like there is an alternative to removing it. Maybe they have some magic healing option that will put the tooth back together again! EVERY insurance carrier has a written price on what they will cover, what they will pay for every procedure. ALL providers have that info, but almost none will share that info. Until we as consumers demand price transparency, we will continue to be at the mercy of health providers who refuse to help us make informed choices. read more

Dr Taghikhan is warm and welcome, and definitely makes you feel comfortable in making a decision to take out wisdom teeth. I had all my wisdom teeth pulled out in one sitting. Being a 30 year old, this is a painful experience, but thankfully Dr T and team did a good job taking care of me. I do appreciate that he does a careful job in order to make sure your teeth are out without any complications - it makes me trust the doctor more. I was referred to Dr. Taghikhan by my dentist for a dental implant of a tooth I broke off. I needed a dental office that is wheelchair accessible and this office is fully accessible. I am so glad I was referred here, because the doctor and his staff are very helpful, friendly and, most important, competent. We were greeted immediately, and there was no waiting. The front desk person was cheerful, efficient and not officious. The surgical dental assistances were also friendly and helpful. They knew what to do without being told. They were helpful transferring me from wheelchair to dental chair. I am a retired dental assistant, so I appreciated their knowledge and professionalism. Dr Taghikhan was a great surgeon. I entered with a broken tooth and left with an implant screwed into my jaw and no pain. Doctor Taghikhan explained the procedure thoroughly. I want to give warmest thanks to Dr Taghikhan and his entire clinic, for helping me when I did not think it could happened so fast and so professional. I found Dr Taghikhan's clinic on line and I called for an appointment for a more complex surgery of remaining parts from a wisdom tooth, left after a previous procedure done by another dental provider. My experience with Dr Taghikhan and his team was great, front desk were on top of providing quotes for me, were clear and rapid on explaining what is covered. Surgery was scheduled within few days. I did not have to wait in the waiting room at all, and during the surgery, Dr Taghikhan was providing me reassurance and updates in real time. I felt heard and involved in my own treatment plan and decision making, considering it was not a regular extraction. Incredible enough, after one hour surgery, after all sedation was gone, I had no pain. I am so relieved, knowing that my follow up is scheduled a week after surgery and Dr Taghikhan already called to check on me, at the end of the surgery day. There was a billing error after my surgery and a statement was sent to me requesting additional payment. I called the office and they clarified that the statement was a mistake. There was nothing upsetting up until this point. As part of the same conversation/process, I realized that I was overcharged by $18. When I said I would appreciate it if it could be refunded (which they verbally agreed to), I was told in a sarcastic tone to enjoy the $18 and was borderline hung up on. If I were to owe $18, I would have been asked to pay the difference, so it was disappointing to me that the person I spoke to reacted this way. read more
