We were assigned to Dr.Taylor through North Bay Hospital after my Mom had fallen and had a very…read moresevere brain bleed. Once she was released from the hospital and was in an acute rehab facility, we went to see her after her most recent CT scan. We literally spent maybe 10 minutes in her office. She was curt and does not have the best chair side manner. I would ask questions in behalf of my mother and she was not very forthcoming of any information with regard to why my mother fell. She just kept repeating " there is no more bleeding and no more swelling in the brain " . " We're good" ... When we would ask questions about weakness in her lower extremities and unsteady gait she had no answers. When I asked about what we could do about finding the appropriate SSRI for her that might work better than what she was on now she skirted out of this by saying " not my department sorry" .. she barely wrote any Physician's notes for the Rehab facility. I felt it was a complete waist of time and my Mother's time. The Medical Assistant was very friendly and knowledgeable maybe she should become a Neurologist and trade places with her. We will be going back to her original Neurologist. I would give this Physician zero stars if I could.

I hadn't realized it, but my feet were beginning to hurt more and in odd ways. I first had a physical therapist and when I finally relayed my plight to Dr. Taylor she confirmed it was due to my back issues...continuous damage over the years plus the new injuries. In fact, she cleared me for emergency surgery, which she flew back from the East Coast to perform on December 27th, 2022...yes, two days after Christmas!!! Dr. Taylor saved - if not my life -certainly my way of life. Thank you!!!!!! Dr. Taylor is also very personable, knowledgeable, able to speak easily to us laymen, shows great compassion and frankly, wants the best for each patient.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schlatter for many years. She has helped me tremendously with my…read moreessential tremor by monitoring medications, continuing to test the progression of my disease and discussed other treatment options. I find her to be very good at communicating difficult medical terms and issues and updating me on new medical options as they occur. As I worried about other neurological diseases she has helped me understand them. I recommend anyone who needs a neurologist to see Dr. Schlatter.

I was referred to Dr. Schlatter from my rheumatologist for suspected MS…read more I waited nearly 6 months for an appointment. Her staff spent more time telling me how busy she was and how lucky I was to get an appt. They sent an intake package with as much emphasis on how busy the doctor was and how I would be charged $100 for a missed appointment and how if I was not at least 15 minutes early they would cancel my appt. With all the hoopla on how valuable her time was I was expecting a doctor who was prepared when she came in for my appt. She was totally unprepared!!! She showed up 45 minutes late still carrying her purse and didn't even know my name when she came into the exam room. She had read none of my medical records in preparation. She had no idea where I was there. She preformed a cursory exam and ordered some standard tests (several of which I had already had, but she hadn't prepared for the appointment so she didn't have any clue what needed to be ordered). Her staff failed to send the right orders for imaging until I had called 3 times. I had to call and email repeatedly to get even basic information back. It has been 8 months since I was referred to Schlatter and I still have next to no information about what is going on. She won't post my test results and insists that the next available appointment is more than six months out. Complete trash at this location. There are several neurologists in Fairfield, Santa Rosa and other areas which can see a patient and who prepare for appointments.
