The services provided were at a moderate price and scheduling was easy. I started with a retainer, braces, retainer again and ended with Invisalign. The office was always easy to schedule and quick to return, they also offer texting to schedule which is really convenient. The best part of my experience was paying for my Invisalign in one lump payment and then being able to freely come in as I needed. Also, the appointments were quick and to the point. I got all my questions answered and never had any issues!

I was really impressed that the first visit was FREE with no contract, and they do a state-of-the-art exam with full and thorough x-rays as well as photos. They then give you options (which for my daughter was metal braces, ceramic braces, or Invisalign). Office is large and clean with a TV in the waiting room for the kids. I was worried about cost, but with a down payment, they then offer monthly payments that are very manageable. Most of the hygienists (most of the people who work there, by the way, are young, attractive, and blond - as an HR person I can't help but notice these things) are very good and very nice. I am also very pleased with how quickly my daughter's teeth are changing. Appointments are generally quick and easy. Cons: some of the staff/people who work there could be friendlier. It can be hard to get an appointment when you want one; they book up quickly. All in all, we recommend this place. I'm considering going through the process myself when my daughter is finished!

I just wanted to leave some advice for the patients. I was not a great patient. I turned 30 and started getting gaps in my teeth and thought Invisalign would be an easy fix. You have to consistently wear your Invisalign, almost all day and all night. It can be really painful and annoying and easy to just take your trays out and forget about them. And you need to use your chewys so the tray fits right on your teeth. I was so embarrassed for every appointment because I now know, I do not handle teeth pain well, and I would just take my tray out and tell myself I would put it back in later. Then a day would go by and I'd try to put the tray back in and my teeth would shift already and it would not fit, so I'd have to go back a tray or two and basically start over. I also would take the trays out in my sleep!!! Your teeth shift so much faster than you'd think! At my appointments, I could feel the disappointment on everyone. I'm sure it's frustrating to have to keep doing adjustments and order more trays for patients. I should've been a quick 29 weeks, but I had to pay another $600 for an extra adjustment almost 2 years later, I am finally getting a permanent retainer. And I don't think my teeth are as perfect as Dr. Shapiro hoped, but my gaps are gone and I am happy. And I've heard Dr. Shapiro tell patients that they have to wear their trays or things weren't going to work out. So, I know I'm not the only patient that has been a sort of Invisalign fail. I guess, my advice is go with braces. It will just be easier. Or truly truly commit to wearing the Invisalign and using the chewys. In any case, Dr. Shapiro and his team are so great. New job, new insurance, new dentist…read more I stumbled upon this practice from here (big surprise) and took a deep dive to research about the facility, the employees, the stars. I thought what a lovely looking group of people. It didn't hurt that it's right down the road from where I live so I could pop on over right after work. I will admit that I got a bit lost, but that's because there's like an island with a building (which is where I thought it was) but it was actually across the road attached to a parking garage with a ton of suites. I finally found them on the second floor! I was greeted by Amber who was so lovely, very personable, and so sweet. I honestly felt like she was a girlfriend and we were just missing drinks in our hands. Now, I am not the biggest fan of dentist appointments, but Amber made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. She was fun, but also thorough in taking my x-rays, explaining what was going on, and what we needed to do during my visit. She had a game plan and there was something I needed done that I wasn't a fan of, but she had an alternative suggestion that worked WONDERS so I'm very very grateful that she worked with me and what I was comfortable with. Most dentists have had "this is how it has to be done" mentalities so this place was a breath of fresh air! Mary. What a woman. She came in, took a gander and was spouting off tooth numbers, what needed to be done or what was good, but never made me feel like she was trying to rush me out to get home to her kids. Again, thorough, personable, and I felt pretty good about myself when she complimented my handwriting. (little did she know I was rushing) p.s. Amber is a saint and should get a bonus for that thing she did with the system that powers all the dental equipment and for attempting to use the scanner for insurance cards ;) It's about 4 hours after a procedure and I feel GREAT.
