After I graduated from the care of my pediatrician at the age of 24, yes 24, and started taking my first-born to him, I was lucky enough to find an internist for my very first primary care physician as an adult. So with that being said, I do my research and investigating on a very serious note because a primary care physician becomes part of your family and you literally must be able to trust them with your life. Dr. Watkins sounds like I may be able to just do that.

If the Dr allows hes employees to talk like this he is obviously not in control. They waited over 3 years to send me a statement for $ 3.03. Again where was everybody for 3 years. First, Janae Tomkins is absolutely great. However, the practice is trash. I called for an…read morealbuterol inhaler refill in January, and because I hadn't been seen since my physical in May, I had to make a follow-up appointment. During the appointment, Janae and I spoke for about 15 minutes. I told her that I'd make an appointment for my annual physical in May. I went to the front desk to make an appointment for a physical and was told that the appointment that I just had was a physical. I called the next day to clear up any misunderstanding, and make sure my insurance was billed accordingly and was told by the receptionist that she would check "with the office". She called me back and informed me that, because my insurance wants people to have physicals at the beginning of the year, it was a physical. I then told the receptionist that I normally ask for full bloodwork to be ordered at my annual physical, and that I'd like an order for bloodwork. The receptionist then told me that I'd have to make another appointment to come back to the office before an order for bloodwork would be written. It's not unique to this office, but the entire healthcare system is a scam, one which this practice fully embraces. It's built upon making patients unnecessarily, and repeatedly, come in for appointments for the purpose of billing insurance companies.
