This is one of your typical kebab haus stops in Dusseldorf but this one has great bread and the…read moresandwich is very good...they put all kinds of cabbages, pickles and sauces on it. A lightly spicy red sauce, cool yogurt sauce on top. I enjoyed it. Nothing fancy inside, just tables and its open very late...the other thing is they serve this soup which I really don't know what it is, however I noticed people adding a red sauce to it, like as if it were something to spice it up. I noted that 14 people in the place were eating the soup and we were eating the kebab, the only ones....soup is on my list to try next time for sure. I might add that the kebab was 3.50 euro, cant beat that!!

I literally stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a nice place to have dinner at…read more I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy, upscale ambiance and quality of the food. I had souvlakia and it tasted delicious: my family is half Greek and I lived and travelled extensively in Greece myself so I know my way about Greek food. The service was attentive and courteous thanks to the Italian waiter who made sure we were well taken care of without being invadent. I would definitely come to eat here again next time I am in Duesseldorf.

We have been here a few times. The most recently was for breakfast (Frühstuck)…read more We had orange juice and an apple/carrot/ginger juice blend. The orange juice was nice, but a small portion. The other juice was a very nice blend but cold have had a slightly stronger ginger taste. I ordered an Italian breakfast and my wife ordered a Mexican breakfast. We also ordered yoghurt with fresh fruit. I added 2 eggs to my breakfast, however they brought (and charged us for) a two egg breakfast plate. Which added about 3€ for one piece of toast and butter. I am not sure why she didn't just give me them as a side order. The Italian breakfast was meager. A few slices of prosciutto and a few slices of salami, a piece of soft cheese, some parmigiana cheese and a few small pieces of toast and marmalade. I was glad I ordered the two eggs. I didn't care for the salami, but the other items were fine. Nothing special. The Mexican breakfast was heartier. The chorizo was spicy and smoky but quite greasy and a bit over-cooked. The Serrano ham was good and the casserole (frittata-like) would have been better if it was heated. They presentation of the dishes is very good. The taste is average. The place was fairly busy and quite loud. The meals were brought out pretty quickly and the service was good. We will go back and try different dishes.

Only the fruit flies enjoyed our meal here…read more We visited on a Sunday afternoon and were seated in a dimly lit corner where we were dive bombed by fruit flies throughout the meal. When the food arrived, it was just ok. A lot of it went uneaten as the portions were big and the food bland. The waitress forgot one person's order so that he sat there without his food for 15 minutes when the rest of us had already received our food. I think we got unlucky, but I would never eat here again and cannot recommend.
