I went here based off recommendation from my MIL. She had recently switched to this salon. I will have to say it was a bad recommendation and I would not go back. The owner (only hair person there) didn't concentrate on me as the paying client and was having conversations with 2 others that she was also doing at same time. I did not get the attention I needed to be able to discuss what I wanted and the outcome wasn't well. It was a very unprofessional experience. The conversations weren't professional and since she didn't really pay attention to what I was asking for I now have to go elsewhere to have it fixed. She seemed as if she had a lot on her mind and very scatterbrained or maybe because she was more into the conversations and not fully concentrating on her work. I don't feel she's up to day on styling experience or cutting. She seemed very rushed and that could be becauSe she had 3 people there or because she was behind in time. I'm used to one on one time with my stylist and or 1 person there while my color process. She may be in the more reasonable money prices but you don't get what you paid for. While there she recut someone's hair because it wasn't even and her blow dry is half done if that. Maybe it's me but I don't feel I should have to go home and do hair right after a salon visit. She was a little rude to another customer when she was asked to fix something and she seemed appalled that someone would question her work.
Again, maybe some people into this atmosphere but not me. I want to receive good results for the money I pay. I want someone to take their time to understand what I'm asking for. Ask questions if they are unsure or talk to me about what I'm asking for. Someone on same page, not in different conversations and rushing to get to the next thing or person. My MIL hair looked good but I guess it could be hit or miss. She said she was only in with one other person and not for long. Her mind seemed to be on things outside of salon. If you want to use same products you cannot go buy. I like to use the same shampoo as color brand, wella, redken, .... She won't give name of brand used and one brand of products not available in stores.
Others may have difference experience or outcome but it was a waste of time and money for me to have to go pay more to have it fixed. Another customer was not fully satisfied either while I was there but she kept saying ok next time next time. There's a saying, if no one complements / notices your haircut, style, color then it wasn't a good job. The work done is a directly represents her. She is very rough with your hair as well. My head was being yanked it all different ways to comb it and when drying it. Bad experience for me. I wouldn't recommend or return. She rushed people out the door when finished and another would pop in. She said COVID didn't stop her but I was under the understanding salons were forced to close. Maybe I misheard but I'm pretty sure I didn't. Pay a little more or see someone who will listen and is invested in their clients since that is source of income unless she didn't care. I felt she was rude to another clients situation. Airing it for strangers as well. My MIL will return but she said if she has an experience like mine she will leave. read more
