Due to incompetent and ever changing personnel, it took 4 months for them to finalize the design and place the order for materials. Told me it would be 6 more months to get the headstone installed at the grave site. Ended up taking 13 more months! I always had to call them for progress updates: "Not sure when your stone will come in", "That person no longer works here", "We can't obtain rubber stencils to do your job", "Our person in the shop had a family tragedy", "Covid, covid, covid" and then "I'm sorry, but there's nothing we can do." Never a call from the owner. Don't use this inept company ... find someone (anyone) else.

Very disappointed given the number of services I've attended there through the years and all the positive recommendations. But to their credit...called and actually spoke to someone at Johnson's Funeral Home...said their "guy" was at a graveside service but would call when he returned in a couple hours...never heard anything from them either.

When I had to make that phone call and Brookes answered, I knew there was nowhere else I needed to call. I asked for a very untraditional service for my husband, and they made it happen. Any funeral I have attended throughout my life, I always pay attention to the people who are there working. From Brookes, Blake, the Harpers...they are the most patient, compassionate, caring, understanding group of people you could ever hope for during the most difficult moments of your life. Multiple people in our family are going to pre-plan with them. I can not recommend them enough, and thank them for everything they did for me, my husband, and our families.

My daughter had a few items and well it was far than worth it also because of of the stress and threatening calls she receives daily! We were promised not to be harassed! We asked them to send a final bill due to the fact of harassment and one of my daughters authorized one payment and they later took two more unauthorized payments by use of a credit card that they were NOT allowed to keep on file! It was a one time payment! Now they are threatening theft charges when indeed they committed theft! The employees seem very nice in the beginning and seem sympathetic but when it comes down to it they are far from being a decent or honest business! I would NOT recommend this place to do business with! Sadly, it has come down to nasty and unprofessional calls and harassing voicemails! To the employees at Buddys... Yesterday I received a custom order of beautiful dresses and skirts from Nigeria that I had been…read moreexcitedly waiting on since I ordered them on Black Friday in November! As I ripped open the box I mentally pictured me wearing each article of clothing and swished and swayed in front of my mirror. After trying on each item, I quickly placed it to the side to try on the next! My excitement turned into panic when I put on my dress and tugged on the zipper that wouldn't budge past my lower back [WTH (heck)?!?!]. I grabbed my tape measurement and confirmed my measurements were still the same. At 125lbs I knew I couldn't stand to lose 10 more to get into the dress so I decided to visit a local seamstress to have the sides of the dress let out. As is custom when looking for "Recommendations", I sent out a request on Facebook and within seconds I was told to visit "Quality Embroidery". I called and spoke with Irma who said that I could bring the dresses in immediately. Once there, I tried on both dresses and learned that I only needed a little help zipping one of the dresses up -- problem solved! On the second dress we were not so lucky as the dress was too small in the bust area. After some thought, Irma asked if she could measure the dresses and "lo and behold" we quickly determined the dress was actually made smaller than my original request! She looked at me with a "know all things Seamstress" look and said, "I think you deserve a refund". She held her measuring tape over the dresses for comparison and I took photos and sent them to the seamstress in Nigeria right in front of her! Today, I received a response on Etsy from the seamstress who eventually conceded that the dress was smaller than intended and she is remaking the dress for free! I agreed to pay the shipping of the new dress because she simply asked that I gift the dress to a loved one that was able to wear it! I am so glad that I visited Quality Embroidery and highly recommend their services to all! Until the next alterations emergency!

She fixed both quickly, the work was very well done, and the price was better than two other quotes i got. Any more sewing projects i have before i leave San Angelo will definitely go to Quality Embroidery!
