The bottom floor serves as an art gallery featuring Native American artists. You won't be disappointed and are sure to learn something new about Northwest history.

There is not much of anything left in Bridgeport. We were staying the the Bridgeport RV Marina (see…read morethat review) and besides Chief Joseph Tavern and the Eagles (see those reviews) it's the only thing in the town. The tour was good. Based on other attractions listed above. It was not long and just about the right time, one hour. We would definitely do it again, it's free. They do search your vehicle so leave any of those items at your rv. Tours we're 10, 12 and 2. 8f you get a chance to see the locals catch a salmon while there it is quite interesting how they do it. The local young ones will explain how they do it and even show you the catch.

Give yourself a couple of hours to fully appreciate this gem within the south Okanagan. There are pull-outs several pull-outs in the area which offer different views. The information center offers free parking and free admittance. All exhibits have interesting history background attached. A handful of free educational movies can be viewed in the theatre upon request. Restrooms are easily accessible. Picnic tables can be found outside as well to enjoy lunch/snacks while in awe of the surroundings. Staff was friendly and proud of their work environment. Overall, if you enjoy history and are in the area, Grand Coulee Dam is a must stop. The entire area is well-kept, clean and bursting with history.
