Our beloved boy who thrives on instant pot chicken and brown rice.

This would be a 5 if we were only rating the vet techs, and it would be a 1 if we were only rating the front desk. The front desk has maybe one nice person, and the rest are super rude, and act like they are the only vet in town. As far as the vets themselves: The middle aged white woman vet is super nice, but she seems to have a possible undiagnosed attention deficit, and also judged our family for cooking chicken, and brown rice for our dog rather than serving him processed food. First she said our dog looked absolutely amazing, and asked what we feed him. Then when she found out it was not part of the processed pet food cult, she chastised us. Her lack of an open mind in this regard didn't seem to be in a the best interest of our dog's overall health. The older white haired gentleman vet was amazing - like dog whisperer amazing - but you can no longer book with him. As I said, the vet techs are amazing, and I know they are overworked. I hope they all find love, and peace with better employers, but honestly the best day at this vet was the day we transferred over to another vet who actually cares about our pet, and our business. I hope they can one day get their act together, but for now, there are much better places to have your pet cared for, and the new vet we now go to is even less expensive. Consider yourself warned!

The vet stayed with us for 45 minutes to answer all of our questions and covered our concerns. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt.

Dr. Sven blends his knowledge with a deep compassion for animals. In my case, Dr. Sven took an extra precautionary test when I brought my cat Scotch in for a dental cleaning. In this test, they found an issue with his heart. If my cat had been put under that day for his teeth cleaning without this test (which not all vets do), he would have likely died under anesthesia. Dr. Sven went the extra mile to ensure the safety of my cat & saved his life. Dr. Sven brought in a special cardiologist to help me diagnose heart disease & get my cat on the meds he needed. It gave me several more beautiful months to love him and to say goodbye. What a gift that I will always treasure. When it was time to say goodbye, their entire team was supportive and kind and provided their services with such grace. They handled my sobs with hugs and understanding. Thank you Betsy and Sabrina. I've brought my dog and cats there for routine care visits & I never feel pressured to purchase unnecessary services or products. They focus on your animal and what they need, not what they don't. This vet office has a small town feel where you will feel like family. I can't really rave enough about them. If you're looking for knowledge, personalized care and reasonable prices to boot, bring your furry friends here. One visit and you'll see what I mean.

I got my dog during covid times and was never allowed to be with him during his appointment or anytime after that at my last vet. I was so happy this place allowed me to go back with my dog. The people in the back were really friendly. The people in the front were very busy and didn't even acknowledge when I greeted them goodbye. It seemed like 3 of the 4 ish people sitting in the front are just taking calls and doing appointments, which surprised me they had them sitting up front in the lobby. I think the front-end customer service could be better. They do have service plans for the animals and I did sign up for that. I hope it is worth it as it was spendy (as all of them are, but my dog's health is worth it) and now they have increased the prices. I'm glad I paid in full for the year before the prices increased. Again, the care he received thus far was great.

The staff is always so responsive and accommodating and kind. The pricing is fair and transparent with care packages available to help with pets who may need some extra help. And when the time came to say goodbye to my cat, the process was handled with gentleness and dignity. I have had a lot of negative experiences with other veterinary practices over the years which made me really nervous about finding a good doctor when I moved to a new area - I feel really lucky to have found Vet Partners and will trust any animal of mine to their top-notch care.

They honestly love, love, love your pets like their own. Being a long-term client with multiple pets, we have been through so much and have felt so grateful to entrust our pets' care to these wonderful, talented, and knowledgeable practitioners. We just had to say goodbye to our dear kitty, Brutus (14 years) after being diagnosed 4.5 months earlier with Stage 4 Kidney Disease. Dr. Koppy had seen him through everything since we adopted him: regular checkups, hematomas, luxating patella surgery, and this disease. Everyone from the receptionist to the vet techs to Dr. Koppy have continued to lead with expertise, compassion, and genuine care for our kitty, especially as we found treatments to work with his final illness. When Brutus was first diagnosed, my husband and I had so many questions and concerns and I was so grateful to have Dr. Koppy address every single one with patience, kindness, and understanding. I never once felt rushed or like just another client. Dr. Koppy and her team support guardians of pets as much as the pets themselves. They even brought us in to learn how to give Sub-cutaneous fluids at home. Dr. Koppy comforted us in letting us know that even though his kidneys were ill and we had to add supplements and medications, our kitty wasn't experiencing any pain as we managed his symptoms. When Brutus took a turn for the worst practically overnight (which Dr. Koppy prepared us for well ahead of time), I tried to get him in for an appointment at the clinic the day of. When I described his symptoms, they were very adamant that he needed to get seen even if it wasn't by them. They didn't have openings but put Brutus as #1 priority on the waitlist for the day and also directed me to a clinic that could have openings. Dr. Koppy called me several times that morning as well to talk through what was happening and what her recommendations and thoughts were, even though she couldn't examine him in person herself. I am so glad they did all of this because my cat was starting to suffer significantly and quickly. We were able to see the recommended clinic to get the necessary tests needed to confirm that it was time to prevent him from suffering any more. He went peacefully at home that evening in large part because of their concerns and recommendations. The staff respectfully checked in on us with a card and phone call. This experience has only deepened our relationship with LAH. I know whatever comes our way for our 2 remaining cats (17 yo and 10 yo), I can trust that Dr. Koppy and the Lyndale Animal Hospital team will continue to do everything they can to ensure their health, well-being, and dignity as they lead the fullest lives they can. Thank you to everyone for supporting us during the good and the challenging times.
