The 'master' bath with the jacuzzi tub did not have a shower, so there was only one shower for the whole unit. We were provided a ration of typical household items but if more were needed they had to be purchased. I was really surprised to experience that kind of cheapness at a resort... Four rolls of rough, one-ply toilet paper for a week with two bathrooms, and if you need more it's $0.50 a roll? Seriously? If you're a coffee lover you better bring your own filters, because you only get seven for the week. Our biggest disappointment was the playground. It was run down to the point of being unsafe and unusable for our children. The pool was decent, but they closed it one day unexpectedly and did not put out a notice or anything other than just a sign propped up by the gate. It reopened the following morning. The resort does have another playground and pool father down the main road at the RV park that are decent. Is is definitely too far to walk though. And since pool towels, or any extra towels for that matter, are not available, make sure you have some with you if you plan to do a lot of swimming. We are not a golfing family, so I can't speak for the course. It seemed like there were a fair number of people using it, and there were golf carts available for rent.

One of the Bowling Green Municipal courses, and the first course I have played in KY after…read morerelocating from the Gulf Coast. From what I understand it is the oldest municipal course in the city. Staff: Extremely engaging and courteous. Very friendly and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. A+ customer service. Clubhouse: Quaint little club house. Limited pro shop. Much like you would find at any other small course (golf ball sleeves, tees etc.). An old stone building with plenty of character. Price: Outstanding. 9 holes with a cart for $15.00, with the option to play twice (we will call it the back 9) at a slightly discounted total cost. Condition: Not bad for a municipal course. The cart was in good working order, tee boxes were all for the most part fairly level, fairways were not in the best shape but this could very well be attributed to the changing of the seasons, and it very well may improve throughout the spring. Very nice practice green next to the first tee. They were kind enough to let me practice some flop shots and not chase me off as other courses have in the past. Difficulty: Very good course for all skill levels. Not overly difficult, very little water, small greens that add to the challenge. Not extremely long, with a reachable par 5 and for some, a drive able par 4. Overall: Go out and try it! Good inexpensive course to work on your game and enjoy the great outdoors! WARNING: this course requires situational awareness. If you here "fore" they really mean it. Golf balls sailed past my cart and or tee box a few times throughout the round. Keep your head down or consider playing with a hard hat!

The course does have some trouble holding water on a few holes on the back 9, but when you're able to play all 18 holes it's always a great time. The 18th hole can also be a little tricky trying to find your ball with the driving range nearby. Overall, the staff are great and the layout makes for a really enjoyable round. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone, especially newer golfers.

There is beautiful scenery and wildlife. Also, Kenny Perry himself sometimes shows up and plays. We had the privilege of practicing next to him at the range and then we were behind him for our round. All around amazing course, definitely recommend.
