Shady Beach Grille - Chicken Alfredo - Steakhouses Near Me - Corona, South Dakota

We were excited to try it out this summer. Save your time & money & go north a mile. Overpriced food. Decor is so old it's almost back in style.I love to see small businesses succeed but with the prices I need better food & ambiance. read more

No service at all! They sat us and gave us a menu and then they did not come back. There was only 2 other tables taken in the whole place. After 30 minutes we just left. read more

I had the best sirloin steak. The baked potato was covered with salt which added a nice flavor. The special was a great deal as well. That was if you ordered a steak you would get a lobster tail for free! It was a nice size lobster tail too! The service was wonderful and the atmosphere lovely. Such a nice place to visit. read more

If you did not live nearby you'd never know it was here. This steakhouse is hidden along the lake and is worth the find. They have some amazing steak and pasta options with a dock to put your boat at if needed. read more

Very good Rib eye and Filet Mignon. probably top 5 ever! Perfectly cooked. The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The lights were a little too low and the prices are a bit high for the area, but money well spent! read more

Shady Beach Grille - a table set for a formal dinner - Steakhouses Near Me - Corona, South Dakota

Shady Beach Grille is bit of a hidden treasure. The atmosphere is relaxed but classy. The space would be great for weddings or graduations. Our meal started with a homemade southwestern corn chowder that knocked our socks off. My wife had salmon, I had the Parmesan crusted walleye. Everything was prepared exceptionally, the service was friendly and fast and my wife tells me they know how to mix a drink. The homemade toffee cheese cake for dessert was dense and rich and great. We're coming back for steaks. read more

I last tried this place over four years ago. The service was very slow, and half of my meal was never even brought my table. What did make it was bland and disappointing. We as a family decided to try them again. I will never go back. The food is overpriced. I ordered the featured meal, a shrimp pasta in Alfredo sauce. The shrimp were over cooked almost to the point of rubber, and was not palatable. They did notice I did not eat my meal and said they would not charge me for it. The one positive thing from this dining experience. The service was still slow. We were one of only three active tables. Despite having reservations and arriving on time, and being seated first, another table with a different waitress was serviced and eating before us. Two people of or group of five ordered off the menu, the New York strip, they were prepared as requested. Three of us ordered the shrimp special none cared to finish. Sorry guys I won't be back. read more

Most expensive place in area. Good food. Had a very poor baked potato with a meal that cost $50. Potato tasted liked it had been cooked a while ago and stored in the fridge. Good atmosphere. My wife would give this 5 stars. Last meal there with wife ~ $100. Spends for SD! read more

Food is amazing! Best salmon I've had at a restaurant in a while. Perfect vegetables, homemade cheesecake and soups- great find. The cocktails were both strong and tasty. Charming interior with exposed ceiling beams- would be a great place for a party. The owner and staff were warm and friendly- clearly love what they do and put lots of time and energy into their menu. Can't wait to go back when it's warmer out to enjoy the state park and one of their amazing looking steak dishes! read more

Good food and service. A little expensive but not outlandish. This place is our go to when we head for our lake cabin.
