Design 3 specialty cocktails - They did this and they were very tasty! 2. Provide all mixers and garnishes - They did this, and for an extra fee provided cucumbers and some berries (although we ran out of berries) 3. Provide nice chalkboard displays at the bars, with all the specialty cocktails drawn up on it - ONE of the main reasons I went with this package - They DID NOT do this. 4. We were responsible for purchasing the alcohol from the liquor store, but would Jon Yeager (owner and bartender) would pick it up and deliver to the venue We asked his opinion on alcohol quantities for our party and his recommendation was way off and VERY low based on every other person/google search I did. We ended up finding a liquor store that would except returns for unopened bottles and went with our own estimate based on our research and then added some to make sure we wouldn't run out, especially because the store allowed for returns of any unopened bottles. Leading up to the wedding, Jon seemed very laid back and easy to work with...Everything was "no problem" or "of course." There were a few specific things that we wanted our bartenders to do and were disappointed that they did not happen. 1. Have cocktails for bride and groom ready as they exit ceremony to cocktail hour (in gifted champagne glasses) - DIDN'T HAPPEN - Obviously, we were able to make our way to the bar and ask for drinks in between trying to greet guests and stopping for pictures, but it would have been nice to not have to worry about that. 2. Have glasses of white wine, red wine, and specialty cocktails on trays ready to be served to guests as they left the ceremony to prevent a long line to the bar - DIDN'T HAPPEN - I did ask about this, and I was told that the ceremony was shorter than expected...it was about 20 minutes and definitely long enough to have at least one/some of this accomplished. 3. Lastly, there was the unfortunate incident that occurred at the end of the night. All of our leftover alcohol was taken by the event space owners, Brenda and Dan Cook, and Jon played a part in this. He assured the person we assigned to take the liquor at the end of the night, that it was locked up safely inside the building, and that he knew of a key so that we could retrieve it in the morning. According, to the owners of the venue, the liquor was left outside so, they took it and gave it away to their neighbors- outrageous, I know! Not surprising the Cooks were the ones that recommended Jon of Pour Taste....all very bizarre and inappropriate...and seemingly orchestrated. In retrospect, Jon Yeager must not have much experience based on his alcohol quantity recommendations, and his inability to carry out very simple agreed upon bar tending tasks that were agreed upon, and then there is of course, the lying.

The bride mixer i went to was awesome, we got to meet some great vendors. It's also a free event. I had a great time, and meet some vendors that I didn't even think of looking for. This place is great if you are just starting out your planning process. Plus the space is so cute!

The ego on this man made him refuse to accept or acknowledge that his behavior was unacceptable. He ended up fired, and we ended up with no DJ at our wedding. Avoid this one.

Note: we attempted to resolve this privately via email and nearly a week later, Dan has yet to…read morerespond. Firstly, if your wedding is during a Titans game, you run the risk of DJ Dan himself watching the game on his phone throughout the reception, as we were informed he was doing. Secondly, and most importantly, we explicitly asked for edited songs to be played and were assured by DJ Dan himself - both in my initial call with him and in the follow-up the days before the wedding - that he would only play unedited songs if a couple requested. And we did not. Rather, we worked to ensure that while rap and hip hop could be played later in the evening right before the send-off, that when they were played, they would only be edited versions of songs. And, yet, when rap and hip hop both played, they were unedited. This meant our 80-something year old grandparents were forced to hear "Yeah, I like to f***, I got a f***ing problem. I love bad b***ch that's my f***ing problem ... Oh baby I like it raw with a shimmy shimmy ya ... never met another mother f***er fresh like me ... Cause I'm the n****, the n**** n**** ... turn a d*ke b**ch out have her f***ing boys, beast." This prompted not only a morning of tears from my new wife, but for us to take time sending personalized emails out to about half of our wedding party - primarily to our family members traveling from out of town - who were horrified to hear those elicit words blasted at the reception, taking responsibility for having such illicit and vulgar language to be played at our reception. Don't get me wrong. Some people want that to be played at their wedding - and that's fine if it's your preference - but if you're paying someone to be the professional and they assure you multiple times they won't play unedited music, you expect that to be followed through on. Additionally, it was off putting to hear he played recent R&B during our cocktail hour, as opposed to our requested Motown/Big Band/Bing Crosby type music. That was not something we asked for and he took the liberty to change that without asking us. Ultimately, if someone is charging nearly $1000 for a service and has informed a client that only edited and non-vulgar music would be played, that commitment should be followed through on so the day after their wedding isn't spent filled with tears and time mitigating relational strain with family members. And that if he is going to make an in-the-moment decision about music, even if background music, he should check in with his clients first.  DJ Dan emailed us the day after the wedding and tried to blame the situation on being up in a crow's nest. But being closer to the floor to better communicate only would have helped cut down on the number of times my wife had to climb stairs during the reception to continually remind Dan that we didn't want unedited songs to be played. But being closer wouldn't change the choice to allow unedited songs to play in the first place - which is the opposite of what we had agreed to on the phone. During our final call with Dan, he confused us with another couple - asking me about a dance with my son. We laughed on the phone, but now I'm wondering if he confused us with another couple and may have been working off a playlist that wasn't ours (His online system is incredibly wonky and outdated. We basically built a Spotify playlist for him to play, but then didn't even get what we put on the list). Only hire Dan if you want to run the risk of having a reception that isn't what you planned and hoped for when you paid him nearly $1000.

I got off the phone and told my fiancé I found the guy and didn't need to look any further. Josh was professional, very responsive, willing to work with my budget and gave suggestions on what could work best for my wedding. I told him one of my wishes for my wedding is that people stayed on the dance floor all night...well I got my wish. My dance floor was packed the entire night, no one wanted to leave it because there were great songs being played one right after the other. I had soooo many compliments on my DJ (Josh) from guests after the wedding! High Tone Entertainment made it so easy for me to make a list of songs I wanted to have played or not played through their portal, it was so helpful! I also was running into an issue with my first dance song being too long, and Josh was kind enough to work his magic and cut a new version for us so our dance wasn't too long, but didn't cut out at a weird point! It was perfect! The photo booth was also a hit! It was so fantastic to have to only deal with 1 company vs 2 in regards to DJ & photo booth. Guests loved it and I was able to get copies of all pictures taken throughout the night. Brendan (the attendant) was also AMAZING!
