We used this small outfit, run by a young man out of Oakley, UT, for about 6 months. I originally came across him through Angie's List when I was looking for someone to fix some window screens last year. When he came by to fix the screens, he mentioned he was very familiar with my area and cleaned several of my neighbors' windows regularly. I decided to sign up for a monthly program with the owner. At first he was reliable and thorough--cleaning both inside and outside of all our windows (including very high 3rd floor windows as well as basement windows) at a very affordable price--40 windows for $80. They even clean during the winter months (except for the outside of the 3rd floor windows--way too dangerous to get up on snow-covered roof). On occasion, they would bend or break a window screen, but they would quickly repair it when brought to their attention. They cleaned our windows monthly for about 6 months and did a great job. Suddenly, and without any warning, in March of this year, they just stopped showing up. No calls, no contact, nothing. I reached out to the owner for several months thereafter and received no response--no call-backs, no return emails, no return texts. I was pretty persistent--trying to connect with him about every two weeks. I finally got through to him via text several months later and he simply said that he had cut back his practice and would no longer be servicing our home. No apology; no further explanation. I offered to increase the price because I thought he did a good job and I could trust him in my home. No response. In this trade, quality, dependability and professionalism are especially important to me. He scored high on quality, but failed miserably on dependability and professionalism. Consequently, I could never recommend this company. The full name of the company is Snows Gone Window Cleaning, but it also goes by the name of SG Window Cleaning. To be honest, I was torn between 1 star and 2 stars, but chose to give him the higher rating because when he was working for us, he did a good job. read more
