First, let me say that the people at the front desk are great - very friendly…read more I was referred here ( now called LEGACY PROSTHETICS) by IEHP because my orthopedic specialist ordered a custom CMC (thumb) orthosis. At my first visit, I was given a prefabricated wrist brace instead of the custom CMC orthosis listed in the referral. When I mentioned it, the technician went to check the order and came back saying, 'Oh, you're right,' and asked me to return on a day when their custom specialist was available. I returned for my 2nd visit today. The prescribed custom CMC brace should have rigid reinforcement (usually a metal stay) to immobilize the thumb joint. What I received was not a custom orthosis at all, but a low-temp plastic wrist splint made in front of me in just a few minutes, with flimsy, detachable Velcro straps and no real structure. For a true custom device, the mold is typically sent to an off-site orthotics lab for proper fabrication - that did not happen here. The material is flimsy, the straps can be easily pulled off the plastic base, and the thumb section doesn't support the CMC joint the way a real custom brace should. It feels more like a temporary ER splint, not durable medical equipment. Per my research, it's a temporary wrist splint - not even close to what the Dr. prescribed. I can't wear it on bare skin without irritation - I was told I had to use an old sock with a hole cut in underneath. I pictured like high school football player. To be fair, the technician was polite and tried to be helpful, but the product itself simply didn't match the referral or my medical needs. I hope this helps other patients who come here expecting a true custom orthosis.

Blamed my insurance (which was already pre-approved). Say brace is now on order, but they me what style and color I wanted, and I realized they no brace was on order. They give me a temporary brace which helped. Don't know why I didn't get it on first visit to their office. FINALLY a big heavy leather brace came in. It was so stiff that it rubbed a bloody spot on my shin. And the heal was so bulbous, I couldn't get any shoe over it. It was total waste. I ended up buying a brace off of Amazon that worked better than anything they did for me. Only reason I gave a 2 instead of 1 was that the practioner was very nice. Woman behind desk, not so much. She never made eye contact. I think she was embarrassed by the bad service!

He continually checked in with me to determine if I was in any pain and seem very caring. Their patient portal has never worked for me and when I've asked for help they give same useless response. I was referred to Dr. Rife at Eisenhower Desert Orthopedic, appointment in 2 days. Friendly staff and doctors. I will not recommend West Coast Foot and ankle until they change their patient communication policies.

It's not just me I have seen the way they treat other patients. Save yourself the stress and indignation and go somewhere else.

He always seemed sincere and honest but that trust is gone. He neglected to forward my braces and companion video to the manufacturer for three months. The video was actually not sent/received until last month. He blamed a vacation, being under staffed and overworked. He forwarded a note from the repair facility that said there was nothing wrong with the bilateral KAFO Stance Controll Braces. I suppose that it was an attempt at shifting blame back on me. But why did he take the video and send them in for adjustment if he didn't believe that it was needed? He told me that the Office Manager hired a "girl" right off the street because they were so desperate for help. This might explain why all my calls go straight to voicemail. There are a couple other companies in the desert. I recommend you check before you have a similar experience. Good luck!

Then I went back and he looked my feet over and I was done. As I was expected to make another appointment, the receptionist said I needed to put a $300.00 deposit down for the orthotics. I said that's not happening because I have insurance. I told them to pre- authorize my orthotics and I'll pay what I owe. They didn't, and I didn't return. I just got another bill for $35.00 for the exam of my feet. Don't go here people. It's a money grab!​

My journey with Dr. Bobby and his staff started on 12/12/25. The VA Hospital had zero openings to…read moresee me for 6 months, so the VA offered for me to go into the community to be treated. The VA is contracted with Dr. Bobby to treat veterans through the Community Care Network(CCN). My neighbor Jessay had told me about Palm Springs Podiatry and how well they treated him, so I decided to call for an appointment. I met with Dr. Bobby to discuss this injury. I had 4 years of plantar fascia pain(pf)with no relief; even with the Topaz Coblation Procedure that had been performed at the VA Hospital. Dr. Bobby did the "open plantar fascia" surgery on my foot to alleviate the tension in my PF. 4 months post-surgery and my PF feels better and continues to heal. From start to finish, my experience with PSP was seamless. I want to thank Dr. Bobby and all of the ladies and gents that worked with me on this journey. I decided to check out Dr. Bobby Pourziaee despite reading some bad reviews on yelp. I'm so glad I chose to seek care with Dr. Bobby Pourziaee. On my first visit I was greeted and treated with kindness by the front office staff. The office is very nice and clean. Love how every room has air humidifiers. You can really feel how clean the air is when you are breathing. When I was taken to the back office to be roomed, the medical assistant was very polite and welcoming. When Dr. Bobby Pourziaee came to see me, he listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions and provided me with different options for my care. When I went to schedule my next appointment with Maggie G(office manager), she was also very kind. All the staff have been very nice and professional. After not much improvement with cortisone shots I was offered surgery for my left foot. Dr. Pourziaee explained the surgery to me and any questions I had, he answered professionally. I'm so glad I proceeded with foot surgery. I had my surgery on 11/14/25. When I was in the recovery room after my surgery, Dr. Pourziaee came to check up on me and that just showed me what a great doctor he is. He really cares for his patients. Throughout my after surgery follow up visit's with provider Becky and her nurses Aleydis & Angye, they all provided excellent care. They all took great care of me. Anytime I had any questions or concerns, I was able to simply pick up the phone and call Maggie and she'd have an answer for me.
