I live 14 hours away and wanted my extensions moved up and she is the only woman in town who does them. She is unprofessional and only spoke to me over text in short and rude messages claiming my unimportance in her salon, moved my appointment 3 times and would not work with my schedule, and the 1 phone conversation we had, she hung up on me. I pay 1/2 this price at home and live in the wealthiest county in the United States. She treated me like my customership did not matter and she didn't want me as a client and I was an inconvenience. I went for the first time asking for a mid-fade, older blonde female in the middle was the only person available. So I went to her, she quickly and a little rough did the haircut. Definitely was not a fade at all and knocked it out in less than 10 minutes. The fastest haircut I have ever gotten in my life. I was surprised and definitely a little disappointed. I just didn't say anything and took what I got. She was quiet and didn't talk much, so I wasn't sure if she was having a bad day or that's her normal self, but that was the last time I went to her for a haircut. After that, there was a younger bigger white gentleman with a nice beard to the right of her that I went to after. every time I went and got perfect service from him. I don't remember his name. Cool and talkative. I eventually caught on, that she was always available for a cut and people would tell her "I'll just wait for him". So clearly it wasn't just me. After Moving back to California, I always think about him and the shop and hope they're doing well because again the only barber I went too in Oxford.

But the cut was a disaster. I now have flat bangs, two heavy "hunks" of hair hanging just below the level of my ears, a second harsh "layer" about four inches longer than that....complete separation....no transition whatsoever. This after asking her twice to cut more layers and pointing out the harsh lines. Asked her if she could roll it. She told me they do not have hot rollers.In the salon and that she had "never mastered rollers anyway". She lightly combed my limp, still slightly damp at the roots hair and told me I was "all set". I kind of felt sorry for her... seemed to have gotten thrown in over her head with no training. Just had no clue what she was doing. Paid my $60 plus a $10 pity tip. Def needs more training. If she couldn't do a basic cut like that.
