Where is the customer service in this town? Went to Payless…read moreto pick up cement for a project, I bought a pallet of ready mix I had asked if they could put some extra stretch wrap on the pallet to protect the bags from the rain. The guys looked at the pallet and said no your good, and walked away like I was taking to much of their time. So it was raining by the time I got the bags to the job site 7 bags were soaked. I think next time I will make the drive to Reno Home Depot where the cost of the same concrete bags is 2.72 pallet price,Payless was 4.97 pre bag. They are expensive on just about everything . If you have a big project make the drive to a box store to save some money. As far as customer service goes And my experience with this place is I feel like they just don't care about me or if I come back.

Two weeks later, I called again, they said call back in two weeks. I called back two weeks later, again, the same answer. So I was down for this little game. And two weeks later, I called. The answer was call next week. Now, at this point, I could almost smell the composted manure. So the next week I called. You guessed it, back to calling back in two weeks. So I called again. Back to calling a week later. So 8 weeks later, still no product. So I asked if they could call me when it's in. Answer, of course, well call you as soon as we can get your order ready. That was last year. Still no call back. Maybe amended soils aren't their thing. So I called them this year. I need 20 yards of amended soil, 140 yards of 3/4+ rock and about 100 yards of base. No problem, well have it there in two weeks... About an 8,000 dollar order. Here we are, three months later and nothing. My recommendation, don't bother calling them, they don't want your business anyway. I called another aggregate and ready-mix company in town. They didn't do amended soils, but they knew a place they might be able to get it. Two days later, I had my 8,000 dollar order delivered. Along with 20 yards of composted soil in a neat little pile... free of charge! TNS = nice people, but y'all should just retire already!

I had to ask three employees for assistance who told me to wait in the plumbing aisle and they would send somebody over. This is the type of local business that we need to KEEP in business. Yes. This place is that good! He has OLD STUFF you probably can't find anywhere else! He is low tech. Doesn't use a computer. So I have a love/hate relationship with lightbulbs. Love em…read morebecause they light up my life. Hate em beacue I have to screw them in. But seriously, there are some lamps I keep lit all day and all night. These are mostly vintage lamps. The problem with this is the lamps get really really hot and the bulbs burn out quickly. So I walked into Bulb Daddy with a bag of old school bulbs and said "Do you have LED version of these?" There was no easy answer: 2 of the varieties were easily replaced with LEDs The rest I have to wait till they come out with LED version but they did have replacement old school bulbs. The staff is ridiculously knowledgable of bulbs and LEDs. They even told me that are working on finding LED options for more of the old school bulbs that I needed. It's not cheap but I won't burn through bulbs as quickly. They also guarantee their bulbs. I thought I had a bad one. They recognized me when I walked in. They test to bulb and were prepared to give me a new one. Unfortunately, for me the bulb worked. That means the lamp is broke. DARN!
