I worked with Lynette Sexton for around 1 year in 1999/2000. I had become almost a hermit, and had sought help before, without beneficial results. With hard introspection, and a willingness to learn, Lynette helped teach me how the traumatic events in all my formative years, had caused me to adopt negative, self-defensive ways of avoiding real engagement with people. I had very little self-esteem or value for my own talents and worth, as a human being. I experienced quite a transformation, and, at 68, have been a caretaker, volunteer, and a human rights activist, here in Bloomington, Indiana, since our therapy ended in 2000. I owe her my life, though it may sound dramatic! Thank You, Lynette, you are the most brilliant, sensitive counselor I have ever known! :-) read more
